“We loved our stay at his cozy lake house, it was beautiful, up to date with a cozy decor, the bed was comfy as well as the couch, the shower got nice and hott with great water pressure. And the dock in the mornings with coffee was amazing. The only negative was the wife didn’t really work too well. Other than that we have zero complaints at all! ”

“This weekend was one of the most fun. The dock is amazing! The house is cozy and wonderful. Carolyn baked us cookies and we absolutely LOVED them! Would stay a million times more. Very, very worth the money. ”

“We wanted a place to take our fur babies and relax and that is just what we did. The fencing was a huge plus for us. The area to lounge around the canal was peaceful and the geese came by to check us out. One warning, don’t forget the bug repellent. There were a few negative things that we encountered and made the host aware of so the next guest won’t have the same experience. All in all it was worth it to us.”

“This place is fantastic. I put four stars on location only because we had family business in Glen Rose and Stephenville and this was definitely a drive for us. (It was the closest opening we could find.) If you’re looking for a lake house, it’s 5 stars. ”

“I would highly recommend for couples visiting from out of town. Close proximity to the square, and the local trolley stops directly in front of the cottage.”

“This place is VERY SPECIAL hidden on this beautiful piece of land with animals roaming around. Its so pretty there . I came in late it was dark and hard to find but i called and Helen gave me perfect directions and was so sweet. Love all the little lights and special attention to each spot. Would love to come stay in the railroad car someday. If you want quiet and enjoy country and seeing all the stars this is the place to be. Loved it i will be back”

“We loved this house! It was *almost* perfect. The only issue was that we could not access the boat slip and had to tie our boat to the cleats on the dock. Fortunately, the cove had very little wind and it was not a huge issue. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!”

“This a cute little place to stay minutes from Granbury and steps from the lake. Clean tiny home that was just right for our stay. Wi-Fi available. Host communication was spot on. Just the place to get away for the weekend or the week. Love watching the deer roam through the yards. ”

“My best friend and I enjoyed a weekend of shopping and relaxation, this was the percect space. The unit is up one flight of stairs (above a garage). The unit looks brand new! The beds are comfortable and the ac works great. The sunrises were beautiful and the sound of fish jumping out of the water right in front of you was neat.”

“We were pleasantly surprised with the looks of this tiny house. We had not be in one before and were super how much room there was. The bathroom was bigger than we had imagined and the host made sure that we had everything we need. There was even a basket of items to make S’mores over the fire ring that is available. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area!”

“The home was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Everything about the house was warm and inviting. It’s the kind of place you hate to leave and want to come back and stay again. “Me and 3 other 40 somethings stayed the weekend in Granbury and had the best time. House was great! Walk to the square was a bit longer than we’re used to, but still easy and safe. Even made a fire in the pit and relaxed with a glass of wine! Only “complaint” we had was the bathroom barn doors. They don’t close all the way, come off track constantly, and one of the ladies got stuck in the bathroom in the middle of the night because the doors wouldn’t open. Would highly recommend installing a...

“This home has charming small-town feel with lots of character and all the amenities we need. My daughters enjoyed playing with the box full of toy animals in the hutch. The location is wonderful as we walked to the square for meals and shopping, and right next door is a fun cafe for lunch. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to me. Highly recommend this place.”

“DO NOT BOOK THIS!! We never got the check in instructions. The host never answered until the next day and we were told he doesn’t know about this listing. The customer service lady we got was also very rude but that’s a different matter ”

“Absolutely loved everything about this charming little cottage. Had everything you could possibly need and was so cute and comfy. It's a short drive from downtown Granbury which has great shopping and place's to eat. I definitely recommend staying here and will do so myself the next time I visit Granbury. ”
