“The cabin was ready for an early check in if we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and we loved the beautifulcrafted table. The screened in room was very nice. The beds were comfortable. The house, deck, and dock areas were all nice. We would recommend staying if coming to the area. We visited Tahquamenon Falls, Oswalds Bear Ranch and Benny the Beard Fisher Troll while in the area.”

“Great cabin right in the middle of Eastern U.P. which allows easy travel to other great tourist areas in any direction. We went NW to Munising, north to Grand Marais, NE to Tahquamenon Falls, SE to Mackinaw, and SW to Manistique. Cabin came fully stocked with what we needed, included games and movies, and had a nice pond that really added to the peaceful environment.”

“Wonderful place. I wish we had more nice days to enjoy the lake, but the lake was beautiful. The kayaks were fun to use for a couple days we could. It took a while for us to get the hang of where all the grocery stores and supplies will be, but by the end of the week we had it down. I hope we can use it again someday. “Our visit worked out exactly as hoped, giving us the perfect central location to get to Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Pictured Rocks, Kitch-iti Kipi , Tahquamenon Falls, and Benny the Beard Fisher. A few things to keep in mind though when you choose this property: the upstairs bedroom is an open loft (without a door for privacy), evening dining on the rear deck has a lovely view but is subject to loud road noise, and if you have someone sleeping on the pullouts in the living room it is quite comfortable...

“We loved it! Our 3 year old granddaughter was obsessed with the little beach area. It was nice that it was groomed, clean and sandy. There was nothing that wasn’t carefully thought of by the host. The home is spotless! We brought items we won’t need to pack next time because they had everything. Access to the dock to park our boat is a big perk. Our kids enjoyed the kayaks too. We’re already planning next years family vacation and returning here. ”

“We had a little snafu with the property we were supposed to stay in. Well before we got there, the onwer got into contact with us, explained the situation, and offered a replacement property, a bigger house than we had booked. A few miles from where we had planned, but not enough to matter and more than made up by the replacement house. Very nice house ,wifi is a bit slow (its the UP, it's common), well stocked. Excellent owner, great communication. Would definitely rent from her again. ”

“Our stay at Cozy Cottage could not have been better. Our hosts were great at communicating with us and even made sure it was easy for us to get into the cottage since it was pouring rain when we arrived. The cottage was spotless, and the BEST stocked VRBO we have stayed in. There were so many thoughtful touches that helped us to feel right at home and made the stay even better! I would definitely recommend staying here and can’t wait to visit again!”

“Definitely want to go back! Perfect central location for our activities. That lake view?Wow! Beverly is a thoughtful hostess. Cozy & nicely decorated with nice extra touches inside and out - apple & pear trees on property (close enough to ripe when we were there!) deer were snacking on a few in the morning, sandbox, games, tvs with all the extras. Cant say enough. It was perfect for our adult family of 4.”
