“Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

“Not quite as it looked in the advert . The outside table and chairs give the impression you can sit out in a courtyard ..it's actually the drive up to the other property's . The next property was occupied by seven lads on a stag weekend who all came in there cars , therefore nowhere to park for our two cars .the weekend was also marred by the taxi turning up at the lads accommodation with a young lady in what can only be described as as nurses outfit and heels ... “We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“Was in the area for a birthday party. I know this area well and can say when you walk in the house and then begin to explore the floors, its much larger than it appears in the pictures. Location is 5 min walk to the Royal Hotel and Grocery store.Coming in from overseas arriving early, Clare was super accommodating. Plenty of off street parking. While I didn't use the kitchen its well stocked. You will not be disappointed. ”

“The hotel is fine and the location suited us. It was frustrating that when we booked there was very limited possibility for reserving a meal. I was surprised they didn't keep a few tables for residents. But there's plenty locally and it wasn't an issue. Friendly staff, plentiful parking, clean, warm. All good. ”
