Great cabin in the woods
We went for a family ski weekend and the house was great. We showed up and the sidewalk and stairs to the cabin were recently shoveled after some snow. The house was well furnished, we did not need to bring anything. Short distance to a few different ski resorts. We slept 12 easily, the kitchen and bathrooms are a little small for that many people but having the private hot tub and sauna after skiing made up for that!! We will definitely stay here again

Great chalet for golf trip
Excellent place to stay. Very clean and everything exactly as stated. The hot tub and sauna were excellent features as well. Great location and quiet property. Near many golf courses and perfect for our trip. Will stay again if we return to the area!

Great cabin with lots of room
This was great A frame in a great / private location. The hosts were awesome. It has a perfect fire pit area, a great deck and plenty of room to gather in the main room. The home is well supplied and very clean. The kitchen is small and the bathroom to room ratio calls for some planning but those were easy to overlook given everything else.

Nice Quiet Stay at the Chalet
We rented this cabin to get away after the busy holidays and enjoy a quiet relaxing long weekend with family. Communication with the owners was great and they made themselves available if we needed anything. The path was shoveled and salted for us upon arrival and the cabin was clean and tidy. The hot tub was wonderful to sit and relax in and close to the back deck so you didn't have to go far to get to it. We also took advantage of the tubing at Otsego Resort, which is only one mile from the cabin. Very convenient! The space is snug for the 12 people it sleeps but we made it work. It does mention that the cabin is not handicap accessible, but should add that the staircase inside the house is a very tight spiral wooden staircase that is very tricky to maneuver on. If you have elderly people, babies or tall/large individuals it can be dangerous. We all were able to manage it but should be noted in the description is all. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was exactly what we needed.

So cute and cozy
This charming A-frame is nestled at the end of a beautiful subdivision tucked away among the trees overlooking a ravine that my family enjoyed exploring. The house was great for our group of 10. Everyone had their own sleeping spots. The main floor had a tight galley kitchen that had two mini fridges and lots of supplies. All paper products were supplied by the hosts. The only thing we thought the kitchen was in need of was cookie sheets and a 9x13 pan. Then a big dining area along with a living room. There is a perfectly appointed bedroom with one of the two bathrooms finishing off that floor. The loft is the best view in the house. With a cozy king bed and a super comfy roll out couch. Downstairs there were three bedrooms. Two each with queen beds, and one with a set of bunks. Another full bath and fully stocked laundry room also in the downstairs along with sauna. The door out to the hot tub was here too. What a view. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The house had games, robes for the hot tub, coffee supplies, all paper products, tons of linens, comfortable furniture and the most charm of any rental we’ve ever had. The listing doesn’t do the house justice. It’s even better in person. The decor is perfect and the house was perfectly clean. If you’re on the fence just go ahead and make the reservation. You won’t be disappointed.

We had an amazing time at this home! Everything was perfectly set up and we had everything we needed. The kitchen is smaller, but was just perfect for us and what we needed. The hot tub and sauna were an amazing addition, as well as the provided corn hole game and basketball hoop. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay!

Great Chalet for ski vacation
We loved staying here for our ski trip. The home is clean and well appointed. It’s much larger than we anticipated and the owners are incredibly easy to work with. Highly recommend this adorable house. The hot tub and sauna were a huge hit too!

TV was missing when we arrived and Addams futon in loft we called they brought a blowup mattress and tv they couldn’t get tv to work. Could have used more linens. Location was great pictures made house look much larger.

Cabin is located in an almost magical spot in the woods. It is in a neighborhood not too far off the beaten path but you can’t see or hear the neighbors! Driveway and garage are first. Driveway long enough for 2 cars. Then it is a raised Wooden deck way and stairs to main door. Quaint like something out of the movies when covered with snow. Master bedroom on ground floor with 3 other bedrooms below that level... but that lower level also has a second walk out deck. Sauna was neat but we only used it once. Neat spiral stairs to get down or up into loft. Not great for elderly if they are not so steady on their feet and not super great for toddlers who want to do stairs themselves. Our group was parents in their 40s and no kids under the age 11 so stairs were fine for us. Water pressure is adequate but not the best. Downstairs bath has water damage in ceiling (not bad ...not super noticeable) and a tub stained by minerals in the water but it was clean. Base board water heat is a tad noisy lots of clicks and taps coming from that system but if you are accustomed to older homes or up north cabins this place is perfect. Had high speed WiFi and Netflix (use Vals account. Great movie suggestions). Towels, sheets and main areas very clean. Could use that once a year deep clean in the nooks and crannies to clear out some dust bunnies or cob webs but absolutely pest free and clean enough for this OCD mom. Mattresses were not brand new but we’re new and good enough they are still comfortable. Perfect distance to Treetops or Otsego. We skied both for several days each. High recommend for anyone without handicap or toddlers

Nice little house
Nice house to stay in. Stairs are very little to go down stairs. Sleeps 8 without a couch. Wonderful location. House it well kept. Owner is on top of everything. He’s there to answer anything that you may need. I would stay again

Great place for our girls weekend!
The chalet was beautiful! We had a great time on our annual girls weekend. The view was awesome and it is so close to downtown for shopping and between two resorts. The only issue would be the stairs are very small and narrow and spiral so you need to be careful. We will definitely be heading back here again in the future!

We did not stay there due to tent worm investation and not handicapp friendly
There was no mention regarding this home not being handicap friendly. We had my 87yrs old Mother with us and we could not get her in the house. Wooden walkway had no railings and was not in good repair. Gaylord was invested with tent worms and this property was not sprayed nor was the property cleaned from them. The worms were everywhere. Disgusting. VRBO misrepresented this property at this time and should REIMBURSE me all my money.
