UNA GRAN NOTICIA. Nuestro chalet sobrevivió a los incendios forestales de Gatlinburg muy bien !! El lado de Ski Mountain en el que nos encontramos se encuentra fuera de la huella del fuego. Desde nuestro chalet, todavía tienes excelentes vistas. Gracias a todos los que han enviado pensamientos y oraciones.

Los niños no querrán dejar !!! Nuestro chico casa amigable tiene algo que ofrecer a todo el mundo !!Excelentes vistas que incluyen hermosos amaneceres sobre Mt. LaConte, el tranvía aéreo, el centro de Gatlinburg, una sala de juegos con juegos de arcade REAL GRATUITOS que seguramente entretendrán a adultos y niños durante horas, ubicados cerca de una de las tres piscinas climatizadas de la comunidad de Chalet Village (abiertas desde mediados de mayo hasta mediados de septiembre), y 1/2 milla de la entrada a la zona de esquí de Ober Gatlinburg. Todo esto por un gran valor !! Además, tenemos APARCAMIENTO !! Tenemos una zona de aparcamiento que puede caber 4-5 coches en todo y todo el mundo puede salir o estacionar un remolque moto !!

Nuestro Chalet es un diseño grande de bastidor. Dispone de tres niveles con un baño en cada nivel. El primer nivel cuenta con 2 dormitorios (1T, 1F), un baño completo y un servicio de lavandería (lavadora y secadora). La planta principal tiene 2 dormitorios (2Q de), un baño completo, el salón / comedor, chimenea de gas con sala hundida de estar, cocina, y las cubiertas que rodean los 2 lados de nuestra casa, y la bañera de hidromasaje. El 3er nivel tiene un dormitorio (1K), más una cama (1F) en el desván, un baño. La sala de juegos es su propio cuarto de este nivel y cuenta con sofás. Nuestra cabaña está cerca de todas las atracciones de la zona (Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, entrada al Parque Nacional, y más). Está en la cima de la montaña de esquí en el barrio Chalet Village y nuestra calle termina con la boundry al Forrest Nacional que permite una visita ocasional de la vida silvestre, i. mi. 'L'il Smokey', un oso negro, que le gusta visitar nuestra casa de vez en cuando en busca de su próxima comida. Apesar, estamos en la cima de la mountian, todavía estamos a sólo 3 millas del centro de Gatlinburg ya 15 minutos de Pigeon Forge.

Tenemos servicio de internet inalámbrico, LIBRE DE LARGA DISTANCIA SERVICIO TELEFÓNICO para EE.UU. y Canadá, y cable digital. Tenemos equipos de sonido, reproductores de DVD y VHS y una biblioteca de películas para su placer visual. Para su comodidad, ofrecemos ropa de cama y toallas de lujo, una cocina completa y platos con un conjunto para 15.

Nuestra casa tiene algo para todo el mundo ... el entretenimiento, cerca de todas las atracciones de la zona, las vistas, la casa se encuentra una gran cantidad de distancia de sus vecinos en todos los lados, y la diversión. La palabra que suelen utilizar para describir nuestra casa es que se tiene 'Gran Flow' para un grupo. Mientras que los niños están en la sala de juego, los adultos pueden disfrutar de una película o vistas desde la cubierta.

I was very disappointed that we did Not have a view. We did see bears daily which was fun. The cabin is in great need of TLC, it has good potential but is need of refreshing and repair. We did have room for everyone and the beds were comfy, wifi worked as well unless you were on lower level, then ify. Host were quick to respond when messaged. Note that bears can open trash bins. There was trash all around from checkin. Noone came to clean as we were told they wouldhosts may want to contact th

Lots of space
The game room was a favorite and the hot-tub was nice. Bear visited daily and we thought that was fun. We had a difficult time getting everything in garbage bins- there were 4 cans, but only could get one open to put trash in. Note said the garbage gets picked up multiple times a week, but maybe they are short staffed, as that was not our experience. There were a few roaches in the house, but not anything crazy. Also a leak in the front bedroom on 2nd floor. The ceiling in the top floor bedroom flakes dirt onto the pillow of the bed daily, but it’s just an old home, so not a big deal. Top room also has a very strong odor, but again, no big deal. Ac worked great, kitchen was functional, as were showers. Drive up was sketchy, but that’s just the area. Just understand you are booking an older, lived in home that is probably overwhelming for the cleaner to clean every aspect of.

Good accommodation for large groups
Kids were super excited about the game room. The variety of the pool table and games kept them busy for hours. In addition, the common area, which included the kitchen, fireplace pit, dining area and living room provided plenty of space for the entire group. Saw plenty of bears so make sure to lock your vehicles as one did the car doors and help themselves to anything it could find to eat. The owners were very responsive to anything we needed. Unfortunately we didn't have a view due to tree leaves. The house could use some TLC updates. But overall we had a great visit.

Rundown old property
This is a throwback to the 70s and not in a good way. Everything from the carpet to the furniture and everything else is old and shabby. There are absolutely no mountain views from the house. The stairways are steep and narrow, nobody with any mobility issues ahould consider staying here. There is a constant flurry of some white powder coming from the peak in the living room that coats the sofa. We had a thunderstorm one day and the roof leaked in two places. We actually left a day early because everyone was ready to get out of the place.

Would definitely come back
Everything about getting information we needed and checking in was great, I enjoyed the simplicity of it. The pictures did not show some of the age and wear that was there but we didn’t mind, and the pictures made it seem way bigger. But again plenty of room for us. We used the hot tub twice and it worked great. The trip to Gatlinburg was quick and easy, pigeon forge not so much. We did end up seeing a bear on the property but it was a welcome treat as we love wild life. I do wish the tv remotes had been labeled for each tv, we never really got that figured out. All in all I am already trying to figure out when we are going to come back.

Fun and great value
Pros: great location, excellent value for size of property, fun family atmosphere with arcade, hot tub, and fireplace. Cons: narrow roads, driveway has steep incline (commom in this mountain area), property is dated but functional, no shower head with king bed room ( tub only) overall great choice for budget minded.

This house met all our needs with enough bedrooms and enough living space to have a really good time. The porches were big and surrounded the house. We enjoyed the hot tub. When we called the owner, he responded immediately.

A great place for families and friends
We had a great time and when needed, the property owners responded quickly and were helpful. The home was well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. We did run out of dishwasher tabs and trash bags for the main trash can, but I’m sure if we’d asked for more, they would have been supplied. There were lots of beds that were all pretty comfy. If you’ve got so many people they need to sleep on the couches, bring an extra blanket or two. We didn’t find any in the dressers. The grill works great and the hot tub is also very nice. The arcade games all worked and we played lots of pool. One last thing, it’s up high in the mountains but close to the end of the strip in Gatlinburg. Ubers will drop off and pick up at the house but if you’re driving you’ll want to have a car with some clearance and horsepower to get up the driveway. This is a great property!

Lovely spring break getaway with family
The hot tub and game room were a big hit with our group. Driveway indeed had plenty of parking and our group of 10 had plenty of space to spend time together for meals or games (or apart for quiet time). The location was convenient to the National Park and the owners were excellent about early communication with clear instructions.

Great location
We stayed here for the sole purpose of it being so close to the Ober Gatlinburg resort. It was a great spot. The house is a bit outdated and I gave 4 stars on cleanliness because there was hair in the tub in the downstairs bathroom. But otherwise a nice place to stay, especially for multiple families!

I had a terrible experience with this vacation property. The cleaning was subpar, with excessive dust everywhere. As a result, my son suffered from allergies throughout our stay. Additionally, the house itself is in poor condition, with broken drawers in the kitchen and a malfunctioning shower in the bathroom on the 3rd floor. Furthermore, the access to the property was complicated.

Hughes Family Christmas at Bear Drop Inn
The cabin was perfect for our family in so many ways! Enough room for us all! The game room was non-stop entertainment! The Christmas decorations that was already there combined with what we brought as well was perfect! Steve and Sandy were a joy to work with… so thoughtful and kind! The house slept a lot of people but there were a lot of things left to be desired. Quite a few of the lights were out/not working, the fire place was inoperable, and over all the house could really use some TLC.

Views were absolutely gorgeous! The price for place was very reasonable for vacationing on a budget. Can be in downtown Gatlinburg in about 10 to 15 minutes! The house was dated and could use some updating but suits your needs. My grandkids loved the game room. You will definitely see some bears!
