Bear fun in Gatlinburg
Host was great with communication. The property has enough space for 4 cars but there is also another driveway on the side. Inside was nice but the outdoor living space was amazing. The Blackstone grill was perfect for 3 pounds of bacon and the ribeye steaks! And the outdoor fireplace was amazing. The location close to town made it convenient my only disappointment was the view…no far off mountains rather just the hills with more properties on them, however we had mama bear and her two cubs visit several times a day! It was awesome to see them and their path…they were even there in the evening. We had 10 people and there were 5 bedrooms and 5 1/2 baths, so perfect. Upstairs living area would have been a little small for any more people. Kitchen counter space was a bit tight but we brought an extra table to hold all our stuff as we decided we would be cooking all meals in. The indoor pool/spa was also very nice and although I am not a fan of hot tubs, the ones who used it thought it was amazing. It was very clean throughout the cabin. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend this cabin to others.

Beautiful property - just as advertised!
We loved our stay at this VRBO. It was a beautiful location with lots of amenities to enjoy as a group of friends. We had a great time and even got to encounter some black bears. Would stay here again if we come back to the area.

Wonderful place!
This cabin was amazing!!! It was located close to downtown, which was important for our group. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our needs, with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The outdoor space, especially the deck off the main floor, was absolutely perfect!! Check-in was easy and the owner was easy to work with for our stay. We had an interesting encounter with a momma bear & her two cubs upon arrival. I asked the owner for the camera footage & he was willing to provide it to us! This is definitely a cabin we will keep on our list for our next trip!

Best Cabin Rental Experience
Very close to downtown Gatlinburg (one stop light), Bears Bears and more Bears mornings and afternoons. Very clean we had a RN nurse with us and she was impressed with the cleanliness. Newer cabin probably less year old. We're already planning next years stay . Thanks to Fransisco

Wonderful property
Girls family trip of 9 to celebrate my oldest daughter’s 30th birthday. This place is amazing! We loved everything about it! The hot tub, bedrooms with bathrooms, amazing porches/balcony’s was great! Will definitely stay here again. Visiting bear “shows” was a plus! Will definitely stay here again! Suggestions, but not problems: would suggest full length mirror somewhere in the house, pot holders, some sort of hand soaps, and regular size dish rags. Still 5/5!

Perfect Experience...Bear Warning!
Great communication w/ property owner, beautiful home, surrounding area, & our overall experience = PHENOMINAL! Everything I expect in a VRBO experience. Book it! Now for a few points that have NO correlation to my rating but things I still want all to be aware of cause I'm cool like that: 1) Bears. Yes they exist. Yes we were told. Yes they are around at all times. No, I wasn't told they open car doors. To the owner: please include on your "bear precautions" sheet that they DO open car doors, and you MUST lock your car doors. Maybe for some this is obvious, but not for us. 2) Your DL is required to be texted to the owner. No big deal, I have nothing to hide. I wish VRBO would broker this transaction so there is accountability (chain of custody) with my personal information. This is as much a fault of the VRBO booking policy as it is the owner. I'd want to take all the precautions too if I owned a house being rented by strangers! So be aware, and if this is a concern, reach out to the owner directly or be prepared to share. 3) If all parties have children you will be over the max capacity. The lister has clearly labeled this & is well within their right. Wanted to highlight that if each room is booked for a couple w/ one child, you would be up to a total person capacity count of 15 (over limit by 3 @time of writing). We booked before this limit was in place, and the owner was AWESOME about it! just things that may help someone out! Would book again no doubt!

Family vacation
This cabin had great views and close to downtown. The neighborhood drive was a little tricky for the first go around, not being used to tall mountains. Lots of bear activity, one male and a mother with her two cubs. Make sure you double check your car doors. All in all this cabin is a must for a family or friends weekend.

Perfect. Much better than expected
The cabin worked perfectly for a family of 9. 5 bedrooms, each with a bath attached. Very nice! Cornhole, dart game (safe), pool table. The hot tub was huge - all 9 of us at once and could have had more. If I'm being picky: the road up to it is very narrow and windy and may particularly be a challenge in snow/ice. Also, the parking fit our 3 vehicles but maneuvering each was tricky. Could conceivably fit a 4th, but it'd be tricky. Worked with 3 cars

Perfect House
This house was exactly as presented, clean, comfortable and the oversized hot tub accomodated 8 adults after a long hike. We enjoyed the pool table and the ninja stars as well as the wonderful outside seating and Blackstone grill. We are bookmarking this place for other stays in our future.

Such a great property
We had a great 50th birthday celebration long weekend with friends! Conveniently located yet private. Clean. Very roomy. I would not change a thing! If I had to pick something, it would have been great to have a small fridge in the lower level but definitely not a deal breaker by any means. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful cabin with amazing views.

Very Nice Cabin
We just got home from staying here. This was a very nice cabin! Every bedroom had it's own bath room, which was very nice. However, the upstairs bathrooms did not have any kind of curtains or blinds over the windows, and really no way to hang a towel up (unless you brought some kind of duck tape or push pins). And the bathrooms were VERY cold - not sure if the vents just weren't working or if there wasn't any insulation. The hot tub was very nice! It is actually a swim spa, so it was very large and roomy. We really enjoyed everything else about the cabin. A couple of suggestions for the owners: Label the drawers where the silverware are. When we got there, we couldn't find any spoons, forks or knives anywhere. Once I messaged the host to let them know, after a little while, they finally messaged back and said there are hidden drawers insided the large drawers in the kitchen. Secondly, each bathroom needs at least 1 extra roll of toilet paper. Several of the bathrooms didn't have an extra roll and ran out of toilet paper. Also, maybe put a bar of soap in the shower and one at the vanity. There was only one bar per bathroom and we had to keep moving it from the shower to the sink and back. Thirdly, 1 extra roll of paper towels would have been nice too. There was only one roll when we got there and we ended up having to go buy more paper towels and we were only there for 3 days. All in all though, a very nice cabin! We enjoyed our stay!

Thanksgiving in the Smokies
This is a really nice property and as described. Special features are the Blackstone Grill and the indoor hot tub/pool. We spent Thanksgiving week there and it was already decorated for Christmas- a nice surprise.We had visits from at least one black bear for three days. My party had a little trouble parking their SUV's (4) as the parking lot is not very big

The chalet was beautiful!!! We did find a few things that could possibly be looked into... the mattresses and the couches. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable- the springs were horrible and loud, we rolled into the center of the bed constantly; the sheets felt older and there were no blankets on the beds, just the top comforter - which we prefer not to use. The couch could use an upgrade. It was not very comfortable and the sliding forward/around made it worse. It’s just much too small to accommodate larger groups. Overall, the house was perfect and the location was great! It was a very clean, welcoming and cozy chalet!! The outside fireplace area was so nice also!! Thanks so much!

Great cabin!
The cabin is beautiful. It was Very clean! Plenty of room for the 12 of us. Cabin was furnished with everything we needed. The best part of our stay was the bears that visited every day!! We will definitely stay there again.
