Amazing
Our recent stay in this Gatlinburg cabin was nothing short of spectacular! Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, the cabin offered breathtaking views that made every sunrise and sunset feel magical. The setting was peaceful and secluded, yet close enough to town to enjoy the local attractions, shops, and restaurants with ease. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. It had all the modern amenities we needed while keeping that rustic, cozy charm. The spacious living area had a wonderful fireplace that added warmth and ambiance in the evenings, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook meals when we chose to stay in. One of the highlights was the hot tub on the deck, where we could soak and unwind while taking in the panoramic mountain views. We also loved the game room, which was perfect for some fun family competition and kept everyone entertained . The bedrooms were comfortable, with plush bedding and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and provided helpful tips on nearby hiking trails and attractions. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly enhanced our stay, making it a seamless and unforgettable getaway.

Beautiful Chalet!
Our entire group was thrilled with this home. The view is gorgeous as well as the house. We spent afternoons hanging on the upper deck and the nights on the lower deck in the hot tub looking at the stars. The house was immaculate and the nicest place we have ever stayed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay up in the mountains

Wonderful!
This beautiful property has a modern, open concept floor plan which allows plenty of room for families to enjoy a getaway together and have plenty of space for everyone. There are cozy living spaces with beautiful stone fireplaces and TVs upstairs and downstairs, as well as 3 large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The pool table, hot tub and large upper and lower decks were our favorite places to wind down and enjoy the sunset with unbelievable views of the mountain. Proximity to Gatlinburg is awesome, allowing easy access to downtown from either side. We could get to the National Park within minutes. We also saw bears every day on our drive to/from the house. 10/10 recommend you won’t regret it!!

Spectacular Views and Accomodations
We stayed early August 2024. The photos of the property don't do it justice. The views are truly spectacular. My family of 6 had everything we needed for a fun week in The Smokies. Check-in was smooth and the house was immaculate upon arrival. One note...You should definitely heed the warnings of the owner to lock up your vehicle and cabin doors to keep the curious bears away. We were good all week until the last night when my son left one of our minivan doors unlocked. Sure enough, a bear had opened our sliding passenger door and got into a small bag of trail mix. Fortunately, we caught him early and he was scared away by our van's panic button :)

We have stayed in over 100 VRBO properties from Lake Tahoe, Carmel-by the-Sea, Palm Springs, Cape Cod, Kemare Ireland, Edinburgh Scotland, and Lake Como Italy to name a few, and just as Ridgewood Retreat sits high on the hill so does its ranking as one of the most beautiful and picturesque homes we've ever had the pleasure to enjoy. There's a reason why this property has such rave reviews ... It is simply magnificence! .

Great place to relax and enjoy
The cabin was beautiful, clean, stunning decor. The kitchen was amazing. The beds were comfortable. The view was perfection. We loved staying here to relax and enjoy, but also loved that we were close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge when we wanted to get out and about. We had more than enough room for our family to hang out and enjoy our time. The only down side was that we didn't want to leave, and wished for more time there. We have stayed in many Gatlinburg cabins, and some of them are tricky to navigate up the roads to. This one was pretty easy for us to navigate to, and easy to get in and out of. We suggest going in the second turn in so you are facing the right way when you leave. We loved that it was a curved driveway that allowed for that pull in and then just drive out opportunity. We will be back. Thank you!

Best rental house ever!!!
Wow is all I can say about this house!!! My husband, 2 college aged sons and I had the best vacation in this house. The views cannot be beat. Loved getting up and watching the sunrise while having coffee. The house is equipped with everything that you'll need for a great vacation. The communication with Brandon was top notch. We made bacon one morning and we must have had 6 bears sniffing around the house. 2 bears cubs came right onto the side deck and put their paws on the door. I obviously didn't feed them or let them in regardless of how cute they were :). Location was perfect between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. If you rent this house - you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely perfect
We had the best week in this beautiful property! The cleanest, most impeccable home we have ever rented. Everything looks and feels brand new while perfectly cozy and “rustic” in a 5 Star hotel kind of way. ;) The view is stunning, the best thing to wake up to or come home to after a long day of hiking in the NP. The layout is lovely for family time together, hot tub was so fun and relaxing, pool table and games were loved by the kids, and it was just all around a truly wonderful week spent in this gorgeous home. Could not recommend more!

Great stay and wonderful property
Our family had an amazing stay at the house as it was beautiful, clean and convenient to both Gatlinburg and Pidgeon Forge. We saw many animals such as bears, dear, wild turkeys and a bobcat. The view from the house was wonderful and invigorating. Brandon was helpful and responsive to inquiries and messages. Highly recommend the property

Beautiful Chalet
The location of this chalet is perfect for beautiful mountain views. We drove around the area a lot and we still believe this chalet had some of the best views! We traveled with our two teenage children and the pool table, hot tub and arcade games were a hit every night. We got to see a momma bear and her cubs outside the front door. The best part of this property was the fact it is new and clean! It is centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We spent our time hiking some falls, white water rafting, walking across the Gatlinburg Skybridge, going to the car museum, mini-golfing, shopping at the Tanger Outlets, going to the club house pool and enjoying the amazing restaurants the area has to offer. It was such a fun vacation! I can't say enough about Brandon's amazing communication and his eagerness to make sure our stay was five stars, which it was! If you want breathtaking views, a new and beautifully designed home, centrally located for all there is to do and a great host, then this one is for you!

Modern home in the mountains
We had an excellent stay in this beautiful mountain home! Centrally located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge made it super easy to do activities. The house was immaculately clean, and really nicer than the photographs! Might be important for those traveling with friends, the doors don’t really fully close, which was fine for us as we are parents to four small children and don’t get privacy anyway! The only negative was the hot tub was fairly small for the size house and number of guests it accommodates, and it had a funky smell. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

Amazing Retreat
We’ve been coming to the Smoky Mountains for several years for a break from the everyday chaos. We’ve stayed in some nice cabins/condos/homes but nothing as awesome as this place! Amazing! Book it right now!
If you are reading this review, stop what you are doing and book this place right away. This place was amazing we hated to leave. The house was immaculate, and the views were unbelievable. The pictures were good, but they didn't do this place justice. The views of the Smoky Mountains breathtaking. Whether you are sitting inside or sitting one on of the two decks, the views were perfect. The home was spotless, well-equipped, and truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was just my wife and I in this big house and we wish our kids would have been with us. They would have loved the pool table, hot tub, and arcade games. 5 stars for sure!

Beautiful home with beautiful views
By far one the the most BEAUTIFUL and super clean homes I've ever stayed in. Many extras with hot tub, video games, board games, books, and pool table:) This home has so much room with plenty of seating areas in and out on the balconies. Host was excellent, gave detailed instructions that made it a super easy check in and check out. Will definitely re-book when coming back to Gatlinburg.

Fantastic cabin with a beautiful view!
We are so happy we reserved this cabin for our family getaway. We had a total of 8 people stay. Mom, dad, and 4 young adults with kids. Everybody, and I do mean everybody, was impressed with this home! It had everything we could have dreamed of and so much more! Great location with the most beautiful view of the mountains, very clean, a well equipped kitchen and game room area that kept us all entertained! It offered something for each of us individually and also as a group which was a huge bonus. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were both easily accessible. Communication regarding reservations, check in/out process and usage of the cabin were phenomenal! We had a great time on our vacation and this cabin was a huge part of it! The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true here. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation
We have stayed at a lot of properties in the Gatlinburg area and this place has turned into our favorite. Our host, Brandon, was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The cabin was immaculate and very clean! It’s modern, kitchen was well-stocked, and plenty of amenities. It was the perfect cabin for our family getaway. The cherry on top: we had a mama bear and her three cubs "drop by" as we were leaving on our last day! Would highly recommend if you're planning a Gatlinburg vacation.
