Needs remodeling
We really liked the location. (very close to town) Everything seemed to be done "on the cheap". The downstairs bed room was missing a light bulb, and, although we called, was never replaced; the bath room had no heat and the shower no light. Both the bath room and shower floors were very slippery when wet; so we asked for mats to be placed on the floors but were told that mats were not provided A real safety concern. The light over the kitchen table (where we played cards) was missing a light bulb and 2 others were dim. The laundry room had a wall plug but no cover-a safety issue. A propane grill and fire pit were provided, but we had to purchase our own propane in order to use them. Instructions on how to set the thermometers and fireplaces would be helpful as well. We all agreed that the price was too much for what we got out of the house. The view from. the deck was wonderful. Justin should be made aware of these things; because with some work, the property would be rather nice.

Excellent cabin, plenty of room, close to town but private
Had a great time, cabin had plenty of room inside and out. Hot tub was awesome, and being right on the river was nice. Walked to town multiple times, nice level walk(around a mile to center of Gatlinburg). Cabin was close to it all but still very private on a quiet street. Will definitely stay again.

Great location by stream
This is an excellent house for multiple groups. Each bedroom essentially had its own bathroom which made things very simple. The house itself is older but charming and its location on the stream is excellent. Within walking distance of Gatlinburg. We saw two bears on the porch, so be careful of food.

Mouse house
I always read reviews but I never leave them. UNTIL today. Potential tenants beware. I’m not exaggerating as I have pictures we collected before leaving (within an hour of arriving), but just leaving a fair warning for those who are looking at the property. This is an absolutely amazing property with such potential! We’d been there less than an hour when we gotten our toddler, groceries and luggage up the stairs. My husband opened the broom closet and there were 100s of mouse droppings in the closet, on top of the duster. Further investigation lead to an enormous amount of mouse droppings throughout the house. Pictures were sent. We were assured we’d be compensated and there was an exterminator contract (which only concerned me more). Two days later we were emailed and notified there was no evidence of mice despite the pictures I’d sent. I was given 10% refund. VRBO will not hold the hosts accountable to such health hazards. I was told by VRBO to leave a review when asking VRBO to hold the owner accountable, but VRBO would uphold the owners decision about refunding. I truly hope they put a little money into this property as it’s location and the potential of the property is absolutely amazing!

River retreat
We stayed 7 days in Tennessee and enjoyed the location of the home very much! Right off of the Main Street in Gatlinburg, we were able to even walk to a lot of the areas we wanted to go. The home was very spacious and provided privacy with the split floor plan. The hot tub was very nice to have and the River was so beautiful! We enjoyed listening to the river early in the morning drinking a cup of coffee on our balcony. The home was very comfortable and fit our family of 9 very well, including teenage boys and kiddos. (17, 15, 8, 5, 4) Anytime we needed something our host was very fast to respond and friendly throughout our stay. Thank you for making this trip possible to celebrate our father receiving his doctorate degree and celebrating a birthday at the cabin as well.

Fantastic location, great host!
What an amazing spot to stay at, with a beautiful river right in front of the property. It is also so close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the fun things the town has to offer. Justin, your host, is extremely positive, helpful, and responsive. This is an older home with lots of stairs, but plenty of room for a big family and well kept. The hot tub was nice especially after some long days spent hiking trails in the park. Be sure to follow the well-explained rules regarding trash receptacles… we had a bear walk right up to the trash cans next door to check them for food! He was amazing to see! But he was probably disappointed he didn’t find a free dinner! We had a nice family vacation here.

The property is old, but well kept considering. It was spacious enough for our family of 8. Towels and some toiletries were provided which was nice. It is close to the main strip of Gatlinburg which was great. A local said it was common for a short time of the year for certain bugs to be present, such as the millipedes that were in the cabin. I suppose we should expect bugs in a home that is built on the side of a hill.The host was really great.

Fourth of July Vacation
My wife and I, along with friends, have been looking forward to our vacation for months. The rental was everything we hoped it would be. It was spacious and quiet, yet a quick walk to downtown Gatlinburg. The check in and check out were seamless. We would definitely consider renting again.

Morning Yoga on the River!
The property was great. Couldn't beat the location, especially overlooking the river. Great spot for morning yoga! Walking into Gatlinburg is easy and definitely saves on parking! The house is big with plenty of room to spread out. Wasn't prepared for the humidity in the area but the house was a nice respite and served as a central location for the wedding in Sevierville and a trip to Dollywood!!! Any minor problems we encountered were handled in a timely manner. If a return visit to Gatlinburg is in our future, I would stay here again.

River Retreat
This cabin is conveniently located in between Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge. Being a fisherman having the creek right in front of the cabin and being able to walk out and trout Fish first thing in the morning was exciting for me. The Owners are very responsive and courteous to your needs. The only downside we had is we had a member of our party on crutches and there were a lot of stairs, that was our own doing as I should have been more aware from the pictures. It has Plenty of room for a big party just don’t have too many vehicles as parking is limited on a narrow street. Other than that, our stay was great!

Great location
Easy access to most of Gatlinburg. We didn’t have any issues walking to downtown. The road from the cabin to the main road is narrow but not busy. Just need to be cautious. The host was very responsive and answered all our question's and concerns.

Spring break in Gatlinburg
We had a great stay with family friends and their kiddos! Great and easy communication with host. We liked that the house was near a trolley stop but found ourselves close enough to walk into Gatlinburg. Located off Parkway also meant we had easy access to drive into Pigeon Forge. Our favorite part might have been being first in line most mornings at the mountain coaster right across the street!
