“Four of us stayed in a beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The views were stunning. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped. Our host Christina could not have been more welcoming or helpful. After days exploring Lewis in all sorts of weather it was wonderful to come home to a comfortable and luxurious apartment and a hot shower.”

“I had an exceptional stay at the apartment in Stornoway. The place was impeccably clean, very peaceful, and of very high quality. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the layout of the apartment was excellent. The location is ideal, situated in a central area with a supermarket nearby, making it very convenient. Additionally, the hosts, Rodi and Catherine, were incredibly kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay here again when I return to Lewis.”

“Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! We were in awe of the view and look forward to hopefully returning soon.”

“What a great place Mackenzie 25 is. The house is in a really good location, making getting around the island easy. The house was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds. Louise was very easy to commuincate with (even when she was away herself). The view down onto Gress beach is beautiful. Some good bird watching and we even saw a whale off the coast at Tolsta! We enjoyed the house so much we have already booked to come back, says it all really.”

Lots of things to do in the area, we were so busy we couldn't find time to spark up the hot tub, alas. All in all, a fabulous week. The agency website doesn't do sufficient justice to the property.”

“Everyone should put it on there bucket list. The owner was outstanding, very informative and helpful in all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend the motorhome option on the Hebrides — but only —if people are comfortable driving a large vehicle on some very tiny Scottish roads. The motorhome was great and drove very nicely, and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The only weak link will be the drive for him or herself.
