“Clean space that actually ended up feeling spacious. No issues and didnt end up needing to communicate with anyone. Just a wonderful, private stay. There was snow and it was hard to tell where we were supposed to drive and as nothing was shoveled or marked. The place is up steep hills from downtown White Salmon. If the weather had been any worse or we had not had 4 wheel drive it would have been kind of scary. It is close to Hood River but the bridge between is narrow and a mile long and...

“This tiny house in a sweet neighborhood is behind the owners’ home. It was plenty spacious for the two of us, fully equipped with coffee and some refrigerated drinks provided to get us started. The amenities were lovely. It was quiet, the bed was comfy, the interior lovingly decorated and furnished. Both Roger and Marsha checked in with us through the website each day and welcomed us after our arrival. The Alberta Arts area is fun and lively by mid day. Plenty of great restaurants to explore....

“My stay was excellent at the Hawthorne Hideaway. The neighborhood was pleasantly quiet and the bed decently firm. The quiet night of sleep was even better considering how close it is to numerous restaurants and shops. The kitchenette and bathroom were well equipped and the overall furnishings nice. There is a ton of natural light with some great skylights. Street parking was close and easy too. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling with a partner or solo.”
