Perfect family house - just as advertised

Amazing
This house was amazing! The house was clean, and great communication. We really appreciated the specific driving directions. What put this house over to the “amazing” category was the views of wildlife right from the house! Can’t wait to plan another trip and come back!

Beautiful home on Yellowstone River
We throughly enjoyed our stay! The house, wildlife, and scenery is absolutely beautiful! We had 6 adults with plenty of room for making meals and not being on top of each other. We had everything we needed from spices, pots and pans, to plenty of towels. It was awesome to sit on the porch and see eagles, elk and the river. I have already recommended this place to 2 friends. Kelly was wonderful and very informative about what to do and see in the area as well as in Yellowstone National Park. A great time was had by all in our party!!

Riverside Wonderland
Our stay in Riverside Lodge was fantastic. The location in Gardiner on the Yellowstone River was so beautiful. We saw herds of elk and antelope in the fields surrounding the house. The house is close to the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park and restaurants in Gardiner. As soon as we entered the house it felt like home. Everything we needed was provided. We would highly recommend this home for a peaceful and beautiful vacation spot.

Beautiful Home, Stunning Scenery
A stunning home, clean, comfortable and well equipped. Even with bear spray, sun screen and insect repellant, as well as plenty of kitchen supplies. The location of this home was perfect for us. We spent so much time on the large deck in the evenings and listened to the Yellowstone River. Elk , Pronghorn and even a Male Grizzly on the dirt road amongst the sagebrush, all close to the house. The whole process of booking too checking in and out was seamless. We all loved staying at Riverside Lodge, and would return. Thank you Yancey and Kelly, amazing hosts. The Woodruffs and Richards. John,Paula, Andy and Debbie.

A Gem Just Outside the Park
Wow! Down an unpaved but well maintained roadway you come upon an absolute gem of a rental property. The location is fantastic- scenic river just outside the door, mountains and abundant wildlife. Fishing right out back while watching the rafters go by. We watched elk swim across in the early morning. The home is clean and extremely well stocked . There is even bear spray and bug repellent. I would most definitely recommend this property!!

Perfect Location
10/10… The location couldn’t have been any more ideal. The Yellowstone River in your backyard. Technically the beginning of Yellowstone is within walking distance and the North Entrance is a short 10-15 minute drive where you will likely see pronghorn and elk. The cabin was very spacious for 8 people and it was extremely clean and well kept. We will definitely be back!

Peace and Relaxation
This property was perfect for our family of 5 (plus our dog). The house was perfect for our family. Lots of room, privacy, and beautiful scenery all around. It far exceeded our expectations and being so close to the North Entrance allowed us to be able to come and go from Yellowstone without it being a long trip just to get in. Thank you for such a beautiful location or a vacation that we will remember!

Gardiner/Yellowstone Getaway
It was SO HARD to leave! It was our first trip to Montana and Yellowstone National Park and we love, love, loved every aspect of our stay at Riverside Lodge. As a nature and wildlife photographer, I was thrilled to encounter landscape beauty at every turn, and wildlife every day during our stay at the house and during our drive daily to and from the park. We enjoyed BBQing every night off of the deck and watching the white water rafters float on by. The resident Magpie, swallows and white tailed rabbits, were a delight to photograph and entertained us every evening. Our timing was perfect to spot baby elk and we enjoyed watching the local elk herd graze in the fields nearby and spotted several pronghorns along the gravel road. The peacefulness and quietness of the setting encouraged much needed relaxation. When we realized there was no coffee in the pantry and our box of Keurig cups that we had bought prior to our arrival would not work in the regular coffee maker, the local grocery store was not far away. After a long day of driving through the park, chasing views and wildlife, it was fabulous to wind down together in the comfy furniture of the family room and watch the Stanley Cup playoffs. The comfy beds, and cracking open the windows, to hear the swift moving river at night, ensured we had a fabulous sleep and were ready for another day of exploring. The ice packs and the insulated cooler were a plus too, allowing us to enjoy picnic lunches in the park.

Amazing and Unbelievable!!!!
Wow! Where do I start…. The most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen nestled between the Yellowstone river, Devils slide and electric peak!!! You have to see it to believe it. We saw elk and pronghorn deer every night in the field right in front of the home. Situated perfectly between the north entrance of Yellowstone National park and Yellowstone Hot Springs plunging pools. Walking trails nearby. I can’t say enough about this property. We really didn’t want to leave. This property is perfect for families. They supply everything in the kitchen you would ever need. We will definitely stay again. What a treasure!!!

One word to describe, EXCELLENT
The property is as described, on the Yellowstone river, away from the town, but near enough to enjoy what Gardiner has to offer. It takes only 8 minutes to get to the north entrance of Yellowstone. The house is great with room to spread out and enjoy the views both from the outside as well as the inside. The owners attend to every need without question.

Memorable
House location was better than the pictures could describe. Access to the Yellowstone Gate was easy. Gardiner a great little mountain town. The house was spotless and comfortable. Absolutely beautiful
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home! The views all around were breathtaking. We really enjoyed hanging out on the porch listening to the Yellowstone River and looking at the mountains. There were many elk that came to visit and a few bunny rabbits. Your home is very charming and so much to do while staying there. All the beds were so comfortable, including the bunk bed, and thank you for having good pillows! The kitchen was well stocked with more than we needed and everything was very clean. The book you guys have put together for your guest is very helpful. Thank you again for everything!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Riverside Lodge. The scenery was beautiful and the wildlife was plentiful. Everyday we drove to a new place in Yellowstone…Amazing! Our kids enjoyed all the games in the downstairs area while the adults enjoyed the outside balconies. A great time was had by all. Only wish there had been a fire pit to make s’mores.

Gorgeous Location on the Yellowstone River
Beautiful home with amazing views right on the Yellowstone River outside of Gardiner. We stayed in early October and were treated to large herds of elk lounging in the fields outside the property, overlooked by snow-capped Mount Electric. The house was spacious, quiet, well-appointed, and filled with thoughtful touches by the hosts, such as a large amount of toys and games for any children who might be staying. An excellent stay that we highly recommend.

Will Be Back!
The house worked out perfect for us. We visited Yellowstone with friends and our college age son. We enjoyed meals out on the deck in the evening. Lots of Elk in the neighborhood, including the driveway! Thankful for the fully stocked kitchen, laundry, etc. Kudos to the hosts!

Wow! This property is fantastic. From the beautiful decor to the spectacular views to the amount of supplies around the house to make our stay easier everything was so thoughtfully done.
