Esta casa frente al mar tiene la mejor vista de cualquier hogar en el West End, pero cerca de la diversión del centro de Galveston. Fácil paseo al parque estatal de Galveston. Nuestra playa tiene un ambiente privado y es muy tranquila (no se permiten automóviles en la playa, por lo tanto, no se preocupe por los niños / perros). We had such a fantastic stay. This house is absolutely beautiful and a great location to the beach. Seeing the waves from all angles of the house was amazing. John had such great communication with fast responses. We loved every minute of it.

Great change of scenery
This was our second stay at this property and it didn’t disappoint. We needed a close by escape from Houston’s heat and humidity… and this home worked. Love being on the water and staying midweek…. No crowds, no noisy neighbors, no hassles! Thanks.

Nice stay but improvements needed
The beach house and its location was beautiful. The beach was just steps away and there were lots of deck chairs to use for watching the waves. Communication regarding our reservation should have been better. When we arrived, we found out that the refrigerator wasn’t working (just the freezer but it needed masking tape for the door to stay closed) and the tv in the bedroom wasn’t working. I notified our host about them and he was already aware of the issue. I appreciate that he offered to send us another tv by the next day but that should have been already done if he already knew the issue. I wish he had told us in advance of our stay so we could have prepared for these inconveniences and focused on our vacation rather than problem solving like where to keep our perishable foods. We left early due to TS Alberto was coming and it was already causing the home to wobble (the hangers in the closet were swinging back and forth on their own). The host was made aware of the house wobbling and he conveyed that it would be addressed.

Perfect Location!
John's place is fantastic for hosting a group of 8! Everyone had their own beds and enough space. The outdoor decks are AMAZING and its right on the beach. Kitchen is fully loaded. Would stay again!

Doesn’t Get Much Better
The house is a dream. If you love to wake up and have coffee on the deck next to the ocean, this is the perfect place. Choice of 2 decks. Almost a 180 degree view of the ocean. Roomy home (we had a family of 5). You can find a place out of the sun at any point in the day with the decks. Or just walk to the beach in 10 seconds.

The property is wonderful. Three levels of decks, wonderful front beach views, and walking distance to beach. Its what we needed to break away from the chaos of the city. Will definitely recommend.

Great views!
The views from this beach house are incredible and is reason enough to rent this house! It is perfectly situated so the upper deck gets the morning sun but shaded in the afternoon- perfect for reading a good book while enjoying the sound of the waves. The outdoor shower and hose for rinsing sandy paws and feet was perfect. Although there was public beach access by the house, there was no car access so the beach wasn't super crowded. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a rack in the pantry to store groceries so cooking our meals wasn't an issue. Would definitely recommend!

Family Multigenerational trip!
This trip was to celebrate my son-in-law's 40th birthday. The trip included two grandmothers, our adult children and our two granddaughters, ages 8 and 5. What an incredible family trip! We were right on the beach! The four bedrooms worked perfect for our family. We then took a cruise from Galveston to Costa Maya and Cozumel. It was a first cruise for my daughter and granddaughters!
