The Blue Lagoon es la última casa histórica de la isla con techos de hojalata de 20 pulgadas. Este 1 historia 4/2 duerme 10 en colchones de lujo con ropa de cama de lujo. Amazing house
We came to Galveston to attend the Dickens on the Strand and celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We normally rent a beach house but I was happy to find a historic home with room for our family. We had a wonderful time. The home is historic and so charming. We will definitely stay again.

Fantastic house in central down town
The host is fantastic! this antique home is fantastic and very well supplied. plenty of room for a large group. We went for the Lone Star Motorcycle rally and the location is very well suited to both sides of the rally (walking distance). The pool is beautiful and the neighbors are very friendly.

Perfect UTMB reunion get together
Four of my old study group were able to stay together, along with one whole tag-along family (mine). We all had our own rooms and plenty of space in the kitchen and living room and porch to talk over the good old days. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had the necessities. The basement « apartment » was perfect for louder pre-teens who also made good use of the pool. It was fantastic to maximize the time we spent together. We used the hot tub. The garden was lovely to hang out together in during the day. Really was perfect!

Great family vacation spot
One of the best vacations we had. The home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Ramona was wonderul to work with. She gave us many tips about the must see places and good restaurants too. We are ready to schedule our next trip there.

Beautiful Resort style home
The home is a beautiful home steeped in history. The original hardwoods, the ornate ceilings, the large windows and more! The backyard had a wonderful custom pool with a huge Hottub. There was plenty of comfortable seating areas, an outdoor television and A clean grill. The host was friendly and helpful. We will be back. a clean grill.

Inadequate Air Conditioning
The property was clean and well stocked. The only problem we had was the air conditioning unit was unable to keep up during the day. When bedtime came around, the house was unbearable due to the high tempeture.

Family getaway
My husband and I, adult children and two young grandchildren stayed for 5 nights. We enjoyed the pool which is the only way to tolerate the August heat. The flies and mosquitoes were bothersome, so be sure to take your repellent. We grilled steaks and shrimp on the home grill and ate gumbo from a local restaurant. We had everything we needed. The downstairs has an extra living area which we didn’t utilize.(It was kinda spooky down there. LOL! Yes, we would stay here again.

Perfect Girls Trip
We had a girls trip to Galveston. We have been friends for 60+ years. It was a perfectly designed home for use. It had 4 bedrooms in main house and a garage apartment meant with bedroom at ground level. The main level is one flight of stairs above ground level. I’ve stayed in several VRBOs and this was my favorite, the kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need & the bedroom and common areas were comfortable and clean. The Lagoon swimming pool was the absolute BEST! Just exactly as shown! The hot tub over flowed into the pool creating the perfect water temperature. Be sure to read information the host left so the pool with remain perfect.. would definitely recommend this property and we all look forward to returning here. Thank you to a great host!! B

Perfect family vacation
If you’re looking for a spacious home for a family vacation - this is it!!! The historic charm of the house is the cherry on top! The backyard oasis was loved by all ages and the massive hot tub was very relaxing! The checkin and checkout process was super easy and the hostess was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend this home and do plan on staying here again!!

1st all we wasn't able to get in when we arrived not happy about that. For the amount we paid i expect way better then what it showed the kitchen had roaches the refrigerator smelled bad the shower curtain need to be replaced also the bathtub drains was stopped up and random people showed up that we had no way know who they was to fix stuff and clean the pool which we should of been told about in advance he was just there when we return we have kids and the random man could of been hurt for doing a job we knew nothing about. I feel like we should be given compensation for all are inconvenient.

A gem of a rental
Ramona was a wonderful host. She helped with some special requests that made our stay perfect. The home is beautiful with a lot of history, and the backyard simply is an oasis. It was perfect for our little family reunion.. all the rooms were clean, it was a charming neighborhood, and the backyard was the perfect hangout spot. We would definitely rent again!

This was a beautiful 1800's historical home. We absolutely loved our stay here. And the pool was so beautiful and inviting. Our family had a wonderful time here. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Many wonderful memories were made here. We will definitely come back again!

Weekend fishing
Family and friends stay for fishing. Able to eat at Millers (amazing), little Daddy’s (amazing) and cook some great seafood at the house. Kitchen is great, so nice to have some staples (seasonings, oils, etc) in the kitchen. Pool and hot tub were amazing and used the whole trip! Will stay here again!

Annual Mardi Gras trip
This property is awesome. The host "Ramona" has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and affordable. There is coolers and toys for the beach, toys for the pool, the hot tub is relaxing, and she has a propane and charcoal grill. We go to Mardi Gras every year and this house by far is the best house for location and space for comfort.

Delightful property/creatively decorated and furnished.
The house and its location was perfect for our family Thanksgiving gathering. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. It was cold for the hot tub and pool but some of our group enjoyed them both. We walked to many of the locations of interest. The tub in the master bath and the sink in the other upstairs bath were very slow to drain. We were confused because the email we received and the instructions in the house differed on procedure for the handling of the sheets, towel etc.Overall wefound the house to be delightful. I was not the last to leave and hope we followed the rules for existing properly except for the laundry.
