Bienvenido a Ocean View, y esta casa es solo eso! Con ventanas de piso a techo en la sala de estar con vistas infinitas del océano. Esta casa ha sido remodelada recientemente con todos los pisos nuevos en toda la casa y todas las nuevas grandes duchas con azulejos. Suite principal privada y balcón en el segundo piso con vistas panorámicas para ver amaneceres y puestas de sol.

Disfrute de su café de la mañana en la cubierta frontal parcialmente cubierta con muchos asientos. La planta baja ofrece una gran área de reunión con dos mesas de picnic, un columpio de madera, una ducha al aire libre (agua fría y caliente) y un medio baño. Perfecto para el entretenimiento de toda la familia.

Dos habitaciones con una cama Queen y una litera Pyramid en cada habitación, ambas habitaciones con TV. Sala de baño con cabina de ducha solamente.

Segundo nivel: Master Suite con cama king size y ducha grande en el baño privado. Vestidor de gran tamaño para esas largas vacaciones de verano. Balcón privado con vista al mar y muebles de exterior personalizados.

Notas: Utilice los puntos de acceso a la playa dirigidos para Spanish Grant, y no cruce ninguna duna. Esta casa funciona muy bien con Sea la Vie.

Ubicación: menos de 1 minuto a la playa; 6. 2 millas en coche a la calle 61; 8. 8 millas en coche a 25th & Strand; 6. 7 millas al parque acuático Moody Gardens / Schlitterbahn.

Excellent Get Away
The house was just as described: close to the beach and very nice. I was very impressed with the cleanliness. The only negative, and it is small, is that the tub shower on the main floor is EXTREMELY slippery and poses a hazard. A few tub appliques might be in order. Otherwise, we LOVED our visit and hope to return.

All of us were 79 or 80 years old and we were thrilled with everything. The railing on the stairs was a little too wide for the women to get a good grip and the second floor shower/tub was slick as ice so a mat should be added. suggestio

Perfect Spot

Great location! Plenty of room for our 70th Birthday Celebration
We were 9 women - 3 Senior Moms with our adult daughters celebrating the matriarch's 70th birthday. There were some safety issues which we brought to the attention of the property manager. Assuming those were addressed we would definitely stay again. Kitchen was well equipped, great washer/dryer. And the patio/deck were fabulous. The managers were responsive to our calls/needs and everything worked beautifully.

Beach House Misses
Pros include a good location, mere steps to the beach. There are nice views from the deck, and the living areas are spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The mattresses are good. The biggest con is the ground floor bedroom. It is a deal breaker for returning. It is cold, wet, dark, and smells even though the rest of the house was comfortable. The floors were so wet with condensation that I worried about slipping and falling. I had to wipe my feet with a (cold, clammy) towel before getting into the bed with (cold, clammy) sheets. I couldn’t sit in the chair because the condensation was so severe that it would have soaked my clothes. A second con is the lack of amenities. It’s a beach house, but there are no beach toys or beach towels. The beds were not all made, and what is more fun than making up bunk beds are 9 pm after flying all day with a 4 and a 6 year old? The bar stools in the kitchen are so cheap and lightweight that we didn’t feel safe sitting on them. When we asked for an additional trash bag we were told that they were not included. Seriously? $4100 and they can’t provide a trash bag? Then there are the snakes. There is a notice in the kitchen to watch out for snakes. Well, what kind of snakes? Venomous? Harmless? What do we tell the EMT if someone gets bit? Do we even need to call the EMT? The location and beach are nice, but there are better options available.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The location of this home is just perfect. It’s situated far enough away from the commercialized area , but close enough to town to get anything you need. We loved being right on the beach, enjoying our coffee on the deck each morning. The washing machine and dryer were so appreciated. The best perk was the outside shower and toilet. We didn’t have to enter the house with our sandy feet! The beds were all comfortable. Our one disappointment was the bedroom that was located below the house. We planned on each family having their own bedroom and bathroom, but no one could stay in that room. It was damp and musty, unfit to stay in. It also had no access to the house, you could only get to it from outside. I feel that should have been mentioned in the advertisement. We rearranged our plans for sleeping and made do with the 3 bedrooms inside the house. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return again.

The view is amazing! Love that it was super close to the beach. Our fridge went out the first night BUT the owner of the house was very accommodating and super easy to talk to. 10/10 recommend!!

Property is very nice and Gary Greene took care of the one problem we had very quickly. If there is a hard rain water stands in the doorway of the ground floor room which makes it hard getting in the room. The house is very well kept and has everything you need.

Great house great location
House was great for me and 12 teens. Plenty of space. The only trouble was the management company gave me a hassle and threatened me before we came about having security all over me, I guess because of the girls ages. That part I didn’t like. I never saw a security guard once.

Loved the location and the house
We did enjoy staying here. It was a nice house and loved the location. But the whole down stairs room and bathroom (on the lower level) had a terrible musty odor and therefore we could not use that bedroom and I even called them to tell them we couldn’t use that room and they did not really seem that concerned or offer to accommodate us for it or offer any money back (and I asked). We paid a good bit for this place! Very disappointing bc our friends (7 people including children) had to be squashed up into two rooms and share one bathroom …that’s not good! That was the whole reason we rented this beach house was bc it was large enough to accommodate everyone comfortably! Just disappointed! But inspite of it, we did have a good time, esp loved the location! And it was a nice house, just could have been even better if we had been able to use the whole property!

Quick Getaway
Lovely home directly on the beach. Plenty of room to be comfortable. Well supplied for kitchen needs. I did need to rewash bath, hand and face towels that were supplied to us because of mildewy odor. Other than that, we enjoyed the home very much!!

Great Property
I rented this property for an 80th birthday party for my husband. It was a great success, his kids loved the beach just across the street. The only problem I see is if you have elderly folks make sure they are in good shape as there are stairs. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First time in Texas
Rented this property with my parents, my wife and our infant son. We enjoyed our time at this property as the location is truly spectacular. We spent many early mornings taking in the sunrises, and long hours on the deck reading books and listening to the sound of the waves crashing onto the beach. The building lived up to the photos for the most part. The screens on many of the windows had large holes and the screen door was ripped all along the bottom. There was also a musty smell, but I am told that that is normal for properties by the ocean and we got used to it after awhile. None of the dishes on the property were clean. Many glasses and cups had sand in them from previous visitors. Thankfully the dishwasher worked without issue and it was easy to get enough clean dishes for us to use. The last complaint I have is that when we arrived, the freezer was leaking. The property manager didn't reply to my message to them about it, but the leak went away by the next morning. The problem was probably just that the fridge/freezer hadn't been turned on in awhile to save power and this was just condensation. Still, a reply would have been nice. Overall my family thoroughly enjoyed their stay at this property. Being right beside the beach was amazing and the linens, towels and furniture were all clean and comfortable. Some reviews have said the mattresses are too firm, but we thought they were quite comfortable.

Galveston Friends Weekend
We rented this house during the 2nd week of December, and it was perfect for our getaway. The house has an incredible view of the beach, with large decks on the main floor and off of the master bedroom. When it was rainy and we didn’t feel like walking the beach, we could just look out of the large floor-to-ceiling windows and watch the surf. It was very clean with a well-stocked kitchen, and there were TVs in each bedroom. Whenever we had questions, the owner was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends, especially those with extended family.

Great getaway vacation home!
This house is in a perfect location, right on the beach behind the dunes. Not a lot of people traffic. Just the local renters and owners and a few visitors. Everyone we encountered was friendly. The house is spacious. What I really liked about the main floor bedrooms was that, although there was one nice-sized bathroom for two bedrooms full of guests, each room had a vanity with a sink and mirror, so you could brush your teeth, do your hair, and the ladies could put on their makeup without having to go into the bathroom. The bottom beds of the bunk beds were either full size beds or queen size. I'm not sure, but they were large enough for two small to medium sized people to sleep comfortably. A family with kids would absolutely love this house! My friends and I absolutely loved this house! We will be back. And the people who work for Gary Green Vacations were extremely helpful. Just a great experience all around.

Great location!
Beautiful home on the beach. Perfect for our family. We loved it! Enough space we never felt crowded. The house was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely use Gary Greene Rentals again. Very helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. Can’t beat that view!!
