Beautiful Stay
We had an amazing stay in Galveston at Playa Tortuga... We chose it based off the pictures and all it had to offer. Everything was beautiful and very tastefully "beach theme" decorated. We would recommend this in a heartbeat and will return if in the Galveston area.

Playa Tortuga & My Kids
I have stayed in Galveston MANY times over the years and in many places. I have to rate this last trip one of the best ever! And one of the big reasons was Playa Tortuga! I cannot say enough about this condo and its awesome owners! The communication and access was excellent. And the condo was one of the cleanest and cutest places I’ve stayed! And if you needed it…it was there! I will definitely be back! I loved it and so did my daughter and grands!

The accommodations were amazing with so many extras including everything you need for the beach (chairs, towels, and even sun screen), family board games, and even snacks. The property and the owners made the experience very enjoyable, and I will always stay at this property when traveling to Galveston.

Best stay in Galveston
The property was exactly as it was listed. Very clean, excellent communication with the property managers and an absolute perfect location. We were close to everything. We spent some time at Moody Gardens and the Schlitterbahn waterpark and got to enjoy the beach every day. The stay was perfect.

Fantastic!
My Mom and me had a great Vacation! The condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. We had water in the fridge, snacks on the counter, coffee and tea. There is also q-tips, cotton balls, a shaving kit. First aid kit,shampoo, condioner and body wash in each bathroom, a container in the bathroom drawer with advil, allergy meds etc... The porch was awesome, and faced the water. We sst there every morning drinking our coffee. The pool was refreshing and clean. We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

Perfect!
The Playa Tortuga was just wonderful! It was our first Vrbo experience and it has set a high bar of expectation! The decor was beautiful and modern; you can tell that the owners truly care about the place and the renters experience. It was spotlessly clean. The communication with the owners was quick and easy and they were super nice! The owners had a help yourself area with some treats and hot chocolate/tea that were a hit with our kids. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with all the kitchen things you’d need! The bathroom even had a supply of over the counter meds that were in a childproof container. The bathrooms had great light up mirrors. The towels were soft and cozy. There is an air mattress and extra sheets/blankets available. There were many family games and kids books which was a hit with us and we played games- the kids didn’t want their gadgets! In fact, two of our kids even asked if we were living here now and didn’t want to leave! It was cold when we stayed but there are beach chairs, life jackets, and some beach toys available. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we will be return customers for sure!

Best Rental We’ve Found!
This is a wonderful beach condo. Location is great, hosts are very responsive and provide everything you need and more in the rental. My little family had a great time, and look forward to returning. Hands down this is the best Vrbo I’ve ever rented. Ask the hosts for restaurant recommendations, we found some delicious food thanks to them that we would never have know about otherwise. The only negative to our stay was some very loud upstairs neighbors, lots of stomping and what sounded like moving furniture during the day which made naps for our little one a challenge. Not the hosts fault at all, and wouldn’t prevent us from returning. Just something to be aware of if you have little kids that there is potential of noise from above. Overall we had a fantastic stay!

Above and beyond expectations!
So many great things about this place! Sure, the pictures and description are all nice but I will tell you, you won’t be disappointed. First the location, not right at the busiest part of the beach - which is fantastic, felt like we had our own private spot. Still close enough to any of the restaurants/shops you might want to visit. The place itself…beautiful! All the amenities, well stocked with towels, kitchen stuff, even icees in the freezer!! Parking also was a breeze. The host are wonderful people! Great communication, easy to reach and very responsive! Even gave us some recommendations on local restaurants that we probably wouldn’t have found on our own and were outstanding!

This place is in a great location and a perfect beach rental. It’s the best stocked rental I have ever stayed in - if you think you need it they probably already have it at the house! We enjoyed our stay!

From the minute we walked in we fell in love. The house was exquisitely decorated and updated. The managers thought of everything you might ever need for a stay at a rental beach house, all the way down to a pleasant noise machine, air purifiers, and eye masks for sleeping! Beach Front, Clean, and Relaxing Rental Provided by Attentive Hosts
Jamie Lynn and Vince are very thoughtful and gracious hosts. The home had everything you could imagine ready for use, such as extra tooth brushes, toothpaste, a snack tray, beverages in the fridge and a hot beverage bar. They also provided an oil diffuser and a sound machine to add to the relaxing space. Additionally provided were beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys for outdoor activities. Playa Tortuga is a lovely little condo but feels more like a spacious house. It is exceptionally clean and updated. The location is a short drive away from all of the bars & restaurants yet was quiet. The beach is directly across the street and the large windows made it easy to view from the home. This was a great stay for a family of six for nearly a week away. I highly recommend Playa Tortuga for any future stays!

Beautiful condo
This place was amazing. It is newly remodeled an everything is super nice and clean. The hosts were amazing they went out of their way to make our vacation stay great. Even asked what we liked to drink and had it waiting for us in the fridge. If you had any questions or needed anything the host was quick to respond and very helpful. Overall we will definitely be using this condo again in the future and will recommend to friends and family.
