“The whole place was spotless and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a wide choice of food and drinks on offer for dinner and the food was fantastic, as was the breakfast, which was freshly cooked. ”

“The,Royal Oak is an old Hotel. So things need a little updating. However our room had everything posh hotels have. Beds very comfortable. Lovely white clean towels and bedding. Tea & coffee making facilities etc. We had pur evening meal in the their restaurant and it was very nice. The breakfast was all locally sourced and off a really good quality. The staff were very friendly and polite. We need to support our independent Hotels.”

“ We stayed at The Royston for 1 night - I wish it had been a week. Huge rooms, beautifully styled, super clean and with everything that you need to feel at home. Comfortable bed, huge shower and amazing artwork.
