Great getaway
10’s across the board. No complaints whatsoever. Everything it was advertised to be. Kitchen and bathrooms very well equipped. Beds comfortable as well as all the other furniture. I would not have guessed that pets had stayed there as it was very clean. I want to stay there again.

Dangerous House!!! Beware.
Arrived 5/2 house was clean& comfortable, great location, grill was brand new perfect view! On 5/3 in the evening we experience lights flickering slightly. On Saturday morning 5/4 power started failing off and on we heard popping and crackling noises then smelled electrical burning. Notified management - they said someone would be in contact. for the next 5 hours I tried to call and text NO ONE CAME TO INSPECT THE HOUSE, NO ONE CALLED BACK. The management company just let if ride. We could not use the blender or run microwave without losing power. The AC could not run properly. I am leaving this review so the owners can understand how the management company failed them. To not address a dangerous power issue by management should not happen. I hope by the next booking that electrical short issue is corrected so others could fully enjoy the lovely house.

Outstanding location
You can’t beat the beachfront views. The decor was beautiful. Huge kitchen and dining although it was just the two of us. The floor plan to me was well thought out and unusual. Excellent for families with the bunk beds. We are at the red snapper restaurant nearby—great seafood and not just fried.

Perfect Getaway
Beautiful views from inside the cabin. This cabin is charming, comfortable beds and furniture. I would recommend to anyone and will book again. The interior decorations are superb and makes for a warm and comfortable place to be. Loved it!

We enjoyed our stay at Pirate's Paradise.
The house was clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms and bedrooms are both small with limited storage space for personal belongings in the bedrooms. However, those minor details wouldn't prohibit us from booking again. We are glad we chose Pirate's Paradise!!

One real con was the storage space, not much at all for clothes Sheets too small for the bunk beds Only had 2 towels for 5 guests, had to buy our own Oar in bathroom fell off wall Kitchen faucet very loose Replace fridge filter Fix electric fireplace so it’s useable Replace litebulbs over bath sinks Shower door did not close Broken tp holder in bath Sat in small plastic chair outside and the brittle back leg broke. These were small annoyances but should be addressed Living and kitchen areas are great. And loved the outside patio. Definitely plan to come back next year! Thx so much

Great Stay
Great location! Awesome view. Very comfortable furniture and that can be hard to find in a typical beach house. Had some great seafood at Red Snapper and went to Giovanni’s in Angleton….the pizza alone was with the quick trip! Mosquitos were crazy bad but that has nothing to do with the house….bring lots of bug spray and protect your doggos too. We had a blast and would recommend this place 100%.

Good view of the ocean. Great beds and recliners. Nice large kitchen. Wifi not fast and frequently unavailable or spotty (Most annoying feature of this home). They promised a replacement remote that was broken before we arrived but they never replaced. Water in one bathroom would pool up in bathtub so we choose not to use. Water also smelled very bad, similar to old shrimp or fish.

Beautiful Home but Problems
We stayed for a full week in June and absolutely loved this home. The dog run and ability to bring our sweet pup was really great. Unfortunately, the water in the house was so heavy in sulfur we could barely shower all week and had to brush our teeth and wash using the tiny filter water spout in the kitchen sink. Horrible for a $6K rental and family week. We reported it when we arrived and never got a response from anyone about it, even just a call to say they couldn't address it right away. That would have been the least they could do. We've vacationed along the Texas coast for 12 years but Surfside was new for us. Unfortunately it was dirtiest, most littered beach we've seen and there's portable bathrooms and piles of garbage right outside the house. One night there were campers out on the beach smoking pot so heavily we couldn't sit out on the porch (let alone allow our children out there). The noise was generally so loud that the only time I could sit and listen to the waves was at 5:30am in the morning. Sadly, we won't be back as a result of our experience. Galveston, Port A, and South Padre have all been so much better experiences for us.

Amazing
Enjoyed our stay very much. We loved how close to the beach the house was. Only problem was mosquitoes. They were absolutely terrible everytime you walk outside they are all over you. Definitely want to pack plenty of bug spray!

The view is AMAZING & BREATH TAKING
Absolutely love this place, bathrooms are a little small but very manageable. We will definitely be staying here again. The kitchen has everything you need. Great location. The view from inside the living area and or off the deck are amazing.

Nice place to stay
I stayed at Pirates Paradise with my older parents. This is one of the few beach houses we've stayed in that the stairs were very manageable for my parents. The open living space is perfect. The furniture was nice quality and very comfortable. The plethora of reclining options were a hit with my parents. The bedrooms are a little tight when you're sorting out your bags and where to put them. Also the water and ice features on the fridge are not functioning so bring your own water and ice because the tap water is a hard no. It being January was very quiet and private. It is a great location for a quiet relaxing trip. Overall it is a lovely little beach house and a nice place to stay. I hope to return in the warmer months and see if it's still a quiet location.

Beautiful!
The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean – just as pictured. It’s right on the beach yet feels secluded and private due to excellent fencing and window treatments. In addition to the dog park area under the house, there are gates on both sides of the stairs so pets can roam around without worry of escape. The management was very professional which made everything easy and efficient. We are already looking forward to another visit to this property!
