Full of Charm
The cottage lived up to the billing, the whole place is as cute as can be. We loved the period decor, the cottage was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even the toaster is cute). The location was great too, just a few minutes from downtown and close enough to the highway to access the wineries and distilleries outside of town. The fenced backyard, complete with yard games was also a big plus. The owners went above and beyond the call of duty and noticed my daughter had forgotten an item and arranged to send it to us. Would definitely stay here again!

A charmer indeed!
Just like the name, this precious home is a charmer!!! When we drove up we instantly were drawn to this little cottage's curb appeal. Whoever restored this little place did a phenomenal job keeping its former beauty intact; while also being updated with modern amenities. It reminded my husband and myself of our first home purchase 29 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed being here so much that we lingered longer there before going out to explore!!

Perfectly comfortable
I stayed at this home with my dog and my adult children joined me for a few nights. I felt safe and the home is easy to access Main Street. My dog enjoyed the yard and we enjoyed the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet.

Great place for a weekend getaway
Very charming well appointed home close to downtown. Very nice fenced in backyard which was perfect for our small dog. Super comfortable beds and furnishings. Love all the preserved historical touches like the wood floors, kitchen cabinets, and bathroom sink blended perfectly with all the modern necessities. Highly recommend!

What a treat to stay at this charming home so close to downtown and the fredricksburg area- The home is extremely clean and comfortable - but the back yard is our favorite ! We only were able to stay one night but will be back ! And our dog was so comfortable Thank you for sharing your beautiful home

Great Secret Getaway
What a great escape. Extremely well maintained home w every accessory you would ever need. This is now one of our favorite ‘secret’ hideaways. There is always plenty to see and do in Fredericksburg.

Well appointed and great location!
We had an incredible stay! The home had everything we needed for a long Memorial Day weekend. It is in a great location just minutes from downtown shops and restaurants and just off the highway to make for an easy trip out to enjoy the wineries. Check in was easy and the back yard was perfect for relaxing and playing yard games supplied by the host. Would definitely stay again.

Very charming, spacious, quiet, clean beautifully decorated 2-bdrm/2 bath farmhouse
We stayed here to see the 2024 Total Eclipse in Fredericksburg! We really enjoyed our time at the house!!! Well maintained and preserved farmhouse with charming decorations and special touches throughout. Spacious living room, dining room and well stocked large kitchen with all the glassware, dishes and cookware you could need! Wonderful coffee bar that was fully stocked! Fun family games in the buffet cabinet to play on the full sized dining room table. Large soaking bathtub in one bathroom and walk in shower in other bathroom! Plenty of towels for bathing and for the hot tub! Lots of shampoos/conditioners available! Full sized laundry available. Outdoor area was super pleasant with well maintained yard; a relaxing hot tub, grill, fire pit, picnic table and yard games! And a pleasant sitting porch in the front of the house! We would definitely rent the 1929 Craftsman Charmer again!!

This house was perfect for celebrating my 50th birthday. Convenient location. So charming and they thought of pretty much everything with all the amenities provided at the house. The hot tub was great! Unfortunately, we didn’t get to use the fire pit or games provided outside. Would definitely stay at this house again!
