“We enjoyed our stay at Bannatyne spa hotel. The executive double room was spacious and relaxing with a queen sized bed. The spa/leasure facilitates were very good. Just a shame we had to pay extra for that. ”
“This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops.
The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent.
Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy)

“This is our go-to lodging when attending the opera at Glyndebourne. A wonderful, country house in Uckfield, set on beautiful, expansive private grounds. Comfortably and exquisitely furnished, it is always a pleasure to arrive and occupy the spacious common rooms and assigned bedrooms. As frequently encountered in England, old properties may lack some modern amenities Americans are used to like air conditioning and convenient USB charging ports. Televisions are dated; rooms do not have clocks....
“Our second stay at Buxted Park. It is a beautiful Country house hotel with stunning grounds. The room was very comfortable with quality bedding, robes and slippers, a balcony and view to the lawn. There was a wedding while we were there but still a quiet stay. The reception staff were lovely, polite and very helpful too.

"It's a great hotel very conveniently located in the Gatwick airport. It's very clean, the rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. The only negative thing is that the room we were given was so far away from the reception, we had a lot of suitcases so it was a bit tough to get there, it was quicker to get to the airport than the room. We are young so it wasn't too much of a problem for us. Overall a good stay and would stay there again."
"The only one gym machine is Out of service. They had a sign which says that they are going to fix it as soon as possible but it is not true... I stayed there for a month and same sign was there and nothing fixed. Also, be carefull if you are booking a saturday night because thay had parties until 1:30 am and if you have to wake up early in the morning it is impossible to sleep. They offer you to change your room but in 5th floor you can still hear the noise. It is not a serious hotel at all."

I went in summer and it was very hot in the room, that was a problem because they don't have a fan or air conditioning. In general, very good and I recommend it without problem."
