What a fabulous getaway property! The view is stunning and the set up is perfect! The hosts have thought of everything! Great outdoor spaces to take in the beautiful view. Great indoor spaces for cooking, dining, watching a ball game, playing or simply relaxing.

The view!
Very clean! The pictures do not do the view justice. But definitely bring an AWD vehicle in the fall and winter. The driveway is slippery when covered with leaves and I'm sure the winter is just as bad when its icy. But we loved it and are already talking about doing it again next year!

Beautiful and peaceful
The house was exactly as listed. Everything was very clean. The kids enjoyed playing the games downstairs (and the adults). We all enjoyed the view and eating our meals outside. The “bar” snd seats outside added to the pleasure. The grocery store was about 20 minutes away and everything we did was within 2 hours, which really isn’t that far when you are in the mountains. The house made you feel like you were in your old little world. Very enjoyable!I would highly recommend this place!

Excellent Location to Escape and Relax
The pictures do not do this cabin justice as the view is even more breathtaking than the pics. It is definitely in the middle of nowhere, but that's exactly what we were looking for to relax and we planned accordingly. The game room was great for our kids (us too). Very highly recommended!!

Excellent!
Our family of 6 stayed at Lost But Found for a glorious 8 days. We absolutely fell in love with the house and the surrounding area and are already planning our trip back for next year’s vacation. We loved how secluded the house was, sitting on the outside deck all you could hear was nature. The beds were so comfortable and we all slept like babies. The entire family loved the house.

House is great but it's all about the view
This is a wonderful house in an even better location. The drive up is a bit rugged but worth every bump. Interior is very thoughtfully laid out and furnished but the deck scenery is the showstopper. We had a great time and look forward to returning.

The veiw is amazing the pictures cannot do it justice. It is truly breathtaking. The host are very quick to respond to any questions we had no issues at all. The guide they provided directed us to an amazing 2 hour horseback ride.

Christmas on Top of the Mountain!
Our stay was absolutely amazing! My family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the stay at the Lost But Found house. The owners were very responsive before our visit and especially during our visit when the power went out on Christmas Day. The power outage was not due to the property owner or the house. Just one of those things with a tree somewhere in the area. The owners were very responsive considering it was Christmas Day. Which we appreciated very much. Thank you for allowing us to use your house for our Holiday celebration. Highly recommend this house if you are looking for a remote, beautiful location to get away!

Great House for a staycation
We stayed here with the max of 8 people. The house was perfect size other then the basement bathroom being shared with the laundry room. I might have missed that in the posting. Kitchen was decently stocked with items, including open food items in the pantry which is kind of gross, but we just left the door closed. If you think you need more then one roll of paper towels, BRING THEM. Also, just to note the basement only has one air unit and it is in the “living room” part, so just know that the basement bedroom gets extremely stuffy if you shut the door. The game room was a huge hit with the 3 kids (ages 17-7) and the adults. The fire pit is very nice and the chairs are comfortable! We had a great time and everything we needed for 4 nights. They aren’t kidding about the driveway… It’s steep and rough but we all got a kick out of going up and down!! It’s it’s own adventure and the kids loved it! The views off the top deck are amazing, especially in the early mornings!!! The one downside is this house pretty far from most of the things we wanted to do, the road to get to Bryson City and Cherokee is long with extreme curves so it took a long time to get anywhere but if we ever wanted somewhere with amazing views and a staycation this is where we would stay!!

Family Getaway
This had to be the best place we have ever stayed. I cant even begin to figure out our favorite part of the stay because everythi g was incredible. I guess first would be the amazing views feom the porch, beyond beautiful. The cabin (kitchen) was stocked with everything you could possibly want and MORE. It was so beautiful and clean. We loved the game room and had many ping pong tournaments which our 12 year old loved the most. Communication the entire time was first rate!!! We will definitely be back. As a family we all felt this was our favorite stay of all our trips. We only left the cabin one time, it was just too much fun to leave. We HIGHLY recommend staying here, and the beds were super comfy too which is hard to find alot of times.

Home Away From Home
Our friends and fellowship trip was absolute amazing. Most credit goes to the wonderful hosts and their great property. The hospitality was top notch. The hosts provide a guide that clearly explains the process, their expectations and information on the local area that makes planning ahead so much easier. The house comes with everything you have at home and probably more. We forgot to bring our air fryer….they had one! The house is clean and well decorated. The entertainment provided is accommodating to all age groups. This trip was 3 couples. All of us plan to return with our children for our family trips. One of the best parts was the mattresses. I’m not certain of the brand. But we all are raving about how comfortable they are. I highly recommend this property.

One of the best if not the best.
Amazing location and there's a bit of everything for everyone. We brought 2 little ones and they were having an amazing time with those toys. Us adults were sipping coffee while enjoying the private secluded home. We gained 2 lbs each by drinking beer and enjoying the views.

Had a great time staying here. House was roomy with a lot of amenities - especially enjoyed the hot tub and pool table. The views were incredible (when it wasn't cloudy and rainy!). Definitely take the driving recommendations seriously -- road up the mountain is steep! Owners were very responsive to questions. Loved it and would definitely come back!

Beautiful house and awesome views
We had 7 adults and a few dogs and we were very happy with house. Pictures are exactly how it looks. Home owner great at communicating with you. Driveway is steep so pay attention to their description but once you get up there it’s worth the drive. Lots to do in Bryson city and Franklin is only about 10 miles away, but it will take you about 25 minutes to get there. We rarely left the house because the owners have provided you with so much to do there to entertain yourselves. I do suggest, just like it says in listing, to bring enough food for a few days so you don’t have to leave. I highly recommend this beautiful house, the owners really care about their guests.

The house is beautiful and so spacious! The view of the mountains is breathtaking! All of the amenities were cleaned and ready for use. And check out was simple! The cabin was beautiful and clean. Plenty of space for our 4 sons to spread out and be comfortable. The basement game room is awesome!! Communication with the owner was easy, and the location is fantastic (as long as you have an appropriate vehicle- our suburban had no problems). Would definitely rent again!!
