Amazing views and stay
Thank you so much for your amazing space for our honeymoon. The touch of leaving us a gift of champagne was so thoughtful. We loved the space, it was local to restaurants and sites we wanted to see but also quiet and allow us to just relax for a few days. It was amazing would definitely come again. Communication with the owner was also Quick and clear. Wonderful experience!

Great time!
Only suggestion would be to stock cooking oil (vegetable or olive oil) instead of just Pam. There was balsamic but no oil to dress a salad. Otherwise great place! Also the freezer melted our ice cream bc it is not cold enough.

Serene retreat

Soul-restoring beauty!
My new husband and I started our honeymoon resting and recovering at this beautiful place! The view and sounds of nature keep us entertained even on the days when we didn't feel like going out much. We hope to return again someday!

Overall Excellent Experience
Hosts were very pleasant and helpful, their cat was an angel as well. Incredible view of Puget Sound, nice quiet island retreat, Gig Harbor just a short drive away. Would definitely recommend to couples looking for a relaxing place to stay and would definitely come back if the opportunity arose!

Lovely stay
My boyfriend and I visited for the weekend to celebrate my birthday and had a wonderful time! We loved sitting on the lawn and watching the sunsets. The host was great. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Absolutely no complaints! We would definitely come again! As a side note we loved your cat, Audrey! What a treat to interact with her :-)

Honeymoon stay at Best View of Puget Sound
We stayed here for our honeymoon in June. Jennelle and Chris are wonderful hosts. Super friendly and helpful to answer any questions we had. The property and amenities were absolutely perfect for our stay. The location and breathtaking views of Puget Sound are exceptional. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning for an anniversary stay.

180 View Dream
This property is so unbelievably beautiful. The 180 degree view is staggering. You could sit and stare all day long. There are times when wind from the Sound is loud, yet beautiful. And there are times when it is so silent that it seems muffled. Quieter outside than in! And the home is really cute and comfortable. We met the homeowner and she was incredibly kind, and made us definitely want to come back again another time!

Peaceful Retreat, Stunning View, Luxury in the Details
We enjoyed seven sublime days in this cozy nest. Thank you, Jennelle and Chris! We found everything we needed and far more - little signs that look like art, yet kept us aware of the conventions in the home; bird feeders filled, inviting a host of birds to the yard; field glasses - brilliant! - for getting a closer look at the Olympic mountains, bald eagles cruising overhead, harbour seals at the shoal, deer ambling past, ferries in the distance; extra blankets and towels; a tea and coffee assortment; bathrobes, and slippers and beach towels for the hot tub. And there was Jennelle's extraordinary art, strategically placed to invite us to slow down and enjoy the moment. No matter the weather, this is a place to enjoy nature whether indoors by the fireplace looking out through the wall of windows onto the water and trees, or out on the covered patio or on the path down to the fire pit. The location on Fox Island is a short drive to Zog's, the single gas station-grocery store-expresso stand with a Post Office directly across the street. Packaged goods were available at the grocery store for a reasonable price. For fresh produce we drove about 20 minutes to the Olympic Drive grocery stores. The old town of Gig Harbor is about another 10 minutes' drive from there. We recommend visiting the sand spit on the northwest end of the island and Kopachuck State Park.

Perfect place for a city getaway!
The place does not disappoint. Fox island was the perfect escape from the city for a birthday weekend celebration. The view is absolutely splendid. Despite not having ideal weather for the weekend (March in the PNW…), we still saw a gorgeous sunset, watches eagles right out our window, and soaked up some relaxation in the hot tub. The property itself is very well done. It had all the necessary amenities as well as many extras. We would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay!
The space is thoughtfully designed with every amenity you might need, or just want, like a hot tub on the porch. You can tell how much care Jennell put into creating it and just how much she enjoys sharing it with guests. The unit is underneath Jennell’s home and you sometimes hear her family walking around but this didn’t bother us in the least as we live in a city and are used to hearing neighbors. The space felt very private with a porch all to ourselves including a hot tub, outdoor sofa, and grill. It felt a bit like a bed and breakfast with way more privacy and a kitchen to ourselves. The view is stunning and we lucked out with beautiful weather but even if it was a rainy PNW weekend we would have enjoyed sitting on the covered porch and soaking in the hot tub. It truly is a perfect year round getaway. This was also a refreshing experience after some not so great vrbo rentals. If you’ve been deterred a little from home rentals, you will not regret this one at all. No extra charges or demands from hosts. Just a beautiful space with a host who obviously loves sharing her home. Definitely book a stay if you’ve been thinking about it!

Sister Weekend Reset
It was a short stay (a couple nights) but very welcomed relaxation with the view, hot tub, and beautiful accommodations. The quiet and peaceful surroundings was just what we needed. Plus Audrey the cat made it perfect.

Quiet and Beautiful Weekend by the Water
This is a very cozy property and the perfect amount of space for a couple. Comfortable bed and couch, good size bathroom with all the necessities, and nice touches: bag stands in the bedroom, slippers to go to and from the hottub, snacks, binoculars, games, etc. The bed was super comfy and bedding even better. The fire table was nice, though we didn't get a ton of use because it was rainy and water leaks in through the deck above. That was not an issue with the deck over the hottub, so we got tons of use out of that. Gorgeous view, even on the rainy days and very quiet and peaceful. One addition I'd recommend is a retractable clothesline for the shower so you can dry bathing suits for easily. Owner is very kind and responsive. We visited Zogs, which was a fun stop for a quick drink. Overall, a wonderful stay and we would definitely visit again!

Perfect
The house was so clean and cozy. The view stunning. Jennelle was easy to work with and went above to accommodate us. My favorite was the outdoor living room with a cozy fire and a blanket. If you stay watch for the cute, friendly hummingbird who sits in the little tree by the feeder.
