Non existent upgrades, deceptive description, lost access to wifi, disgusting carpet
Listing description was deceptive at worst, misleading at best. You cannot see in the pictures the overall condition of the unit.In bad need of renovating. Description calls the dining table new. Far from it. Description references recent upgrades but states nothing in specific. The master/condo has not been redecorated in a decade by my estimation. The king mattress was either worn out or extremely soft. We had to sleep in one of the queen rooms because the King bed was very uncomfortable. The master shower is in bad need of regrouting. The shower curtains in the other two bathrooms were mildewed. The fans in all bathrooms did not work. The television in the kids bunk bed room did not work. It would have been helpful to have that operable to entertain the toddlers. The dishwasher worked fine but the handle was broken. Some of the pans were so old and damaged we couldn't use them but were able to work through that. There were no beach chairs at the property which was mentioned in the description also. The carpet was DISGUSTING! Plusses=first floor location, pool and splash pad,size of unit, view of ocean understandable obscured by dunes, washer dryer worked well. Lastly my decision to avoid Scenic Stays is a result of not having my primary problem addressed. 2nd evening prior to leaving we no longer had wifi. I called Scenic Stays, sent to voicemail. Called again, was told they would call me back and send maintenace. Called 3hrs later. No one came EVER
