Chateau La Mer II Condo 703 is a very nice one bedroom, one bath on the second floor. Warm wood floors, large flat screen tv, open kitchen with granite counters.

The vaulted ceilings and open floor plan will give you a spacious comfortable feeling. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and cookware to whip up everything for a quick meal.  

Condo sleeps 4 comfortably King bed in the bedroom, queen sofa sleeper in Den.
The sunroom is perfect for reading. Owner provided washer/dryer and Wi-Fi Internet. 
Linens are provided, but please bring beach towels.

Short walk to our deeded beach access to the beautiful white sandy beaches of the Emerald Coast

I decided just a few weeks before our stay that I needed a few days away. This property was a great location, great pice and gave us access to all we needed. The unit was just like the photos: a little “beach kitschy” but clean, comfortable, and conveniently located for shopping and restaurants. A/C was a plus since occasionally the weather was warm (mid-April to mid-May). The laundry nook contained two bookshelves of numerous choices of light reading material--a nice touch. The beach service included was great! Any day we walked the ¼ mile to Destin’s lovely white-sand beach, there were two chairs and an umbrella already set up for our use! Richard, the property manager, was very helpful, answering questions, making recommendations and accommodating a couple of our special needs. Two suggestions: Add some under-counter or cabinet lights to the kitchen, which was rather dark. And, in a rental of this type, miscellaneous old or dilapidated things accumulate over time. It might be beneficial for the owners to inventory the kitchen and all closets and remove anything that has lost its usefulness. But that's a suggestion, not a requirement. Overall, the unit had everything needed.

The apartment was nice, neat and clean. The location was right next to the beach. The private beach access made it easy to get settled in and enjoy the sun! Definitely will be coming back each year. We absolutely love Destin!

Overall, great experience! Plenty of yummy restaurants near by. Kids loved being so close to the pool and playground. The beach is a quick walk across the street - thanks for the complimentary chairs and umbrella. It made the beach a lot easier. Only complaint… the sofa bed had dirty sheets so we weren’t able to utilize it and the kids had to sleep in the bed with us. Other than that, the place was very clean!!! Will definitely stay again!

We only had one issue the afternoon that we arrived. My son pulled out the pull out couch, sleeper sofa, and the mattress was disgusting. There was old food crumbs that was very dirty. The couch cushions had stains on them, and there was two large bugs that we killed behind the couch I attempted to call the property manager I know it was after hours but I left a message and there was never any return call so that was the only bad thing about the situation. Other than that the place was really great. It had a close proximity to the beach.

Somewhat disappointed.
I was expecting a beachfront property (a few steps from the beach). In reality, it's a 1/2-mile walk and then you cross a busy street before you get to the beach. Directions getting to the property were not good. We drove for much longer just trying to find the correct street and then we found it by trial and error. I had to wear shoes in the condo because the floors made my feet very dirty if I walked barefoot. I had to provide toilet paper and paper towels and empty the trash before I checked out. I did like the beach chairs and umbrella that Richard provided on the beach. The onsite manager was pleasant and helpful.
