The neighborhood is nice and the room is cozy separated from the house, there is a lot to park your car. The pool area is quiet and has some places to relax like a sofa and tables to eat outside of the room .Ray is a great host always willing to help you. I had a great stay in Oakland Park and I recommend it.

Excellent little hidden gem
The host Ray was great! Down to earth mellow guy. Even gave me and my partner some spirits by the pool. The pool itself was excellent and the little cabana was a great touch. The small little critique would be the central air does not stay on overnight, so it got a little uncomfortable and warm a few nights in the room. Other than that an excellent place to stay! Highly recommended this place

Exactly what I was hoping for!
I needed a room to stay while I was visiting family. The room was perfect and I had full access to the pool and my own small patio with private entrance. Ray was very helpful and always responded quickly when I needed anything.

Hidden Gem in South Florida
All I can say is WOW! Ray and Gavin are fabulous hosts! Extremely knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The property was exactly as described. The highlights for us were the pool and lanai. It felt like a hidden, tropical oasis. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept it, and the shower was perfect after long days in the sun and sand. Thank you so much, we loved our stay!

Room was very comfortable as well as the bed. Great shower. Owners were always there to answer any questions. Yard was beautiful with pool and cabana. Wish we could have enjoyed it more but spent most of time with family.

Wir hatten tolle Tage bei ray und gaven. Alles sauber, sogar neue Fahrräder stellen sie zur Verfügung. Die Außenanlagen hatten wir für uns alleine und ist ein Traum. Man ist allerdings weit weg vom Schuss und braucht Auto oder man muss radeln. Was in der schönen Umgebung nicht schwer fällt.

Great Property, Comfy Bed, Large Shower, Private Backyard Pool/Lanai/Covered Porch
Very nice property that is safe and secure. Centrally located to Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Miami. Great host -- Ray was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a hotel type frig, microwave, and coffee maker. The bath has a nice size shower. There's a covered porch in the private backyard, plus a heated pool, a lanai, lounges, outdoor table and chairs, BBQ, etc. All are nicely maintained, decorated, and landscaped. About 15 minutes to Fort Lauderdale Beach. Many great restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Had bikes and backpacks. Nice to sit by pool with coffee and biscotti from Publix! Really enjoyed the solitude. Awesome to have the pool after riding home from a day in Pompano Beach!

The Pool!
Thank you so much for letting us stay in your room. Everything was perfect and even the cold weather we loved the heated pool. Restaurant recommendations were perfect. Can't wait to rent again so I can visit the poodles.

Wonderful experience for two
I arrived by myself first, because my fiancée had to work and would be joining me later. Ray greeted me and welcomed me and gave me some suggestions on where to take my fiancée! Great private entrance, code provided to open door. Pretty neat. Fiancée arrived and she was pretty amazed on how ease of access it was. Very clean room. Pros: Easy access and access to your room any time of night, your privacy is guaranteed, clean, access to basic TV apps like YouTube, quiet, access to basic amenities such as a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker, full bathroom. Cons: If parking with two cars, the second car will be ambushed by the foliage on the driver's side which could use some cutting, although it doesn't do any damage whatsoever to the car, it is annoying trying to fight through the foliage to get inside the driver'sside of the car. The room was a little warm to our liking despite having a fan. OVERALL: This is one place that I would highly recommend if you are by yourself or with another person. The pros heavily outweigh the cons and we would definitely book again. Ray and Gavin are wonderful hosts with cute small dogs, me and my fiancée were very happy with the room we got. 4.5/5

Check your surroundings before you cuss at a renter.
Really convenient location owner was helpful on the first day. On the second day I stepped out in the morning for coffee while my fiancé stayed back in the room. When I initially left the place, the deadbolt did not secure. The owner stepped out he noticed the door was ajared, he then proceeded to internally combust with offensive language for several minutes. He complained that we intentionally left the door open, which was not the case My fiancé heard everything he said, this made her feel very uncomfortable. But the pool was nice.

Amazing place.beatiful neighborhood
The host ray was unbelievable help in accommodating you showing the neighborhood really nice pool.it was like been in paradise pool was alway clean and always warm.place was really neat and clean.ray was a gentleman fun .he wasn't the hosts he is my friend now thank you ray for such good vacation can't wait to go back
