Esta nueva cabaña contemporánea se encuentra adyacente a nuestra granja de 65 acres y rodeada por más de 800 acres adicionales de bosques. Las actividades están disponibles cerca en Maryland, Somerset, PA y en otras partes de Laurel Highlands. Esta cabaña de Woodland le ofrece la oportunidad de experimentar la vida en los Montes Apalaches en un entorno muy privado. . La cabaña se encuentra a 10 yardas de un arroyo de montaña y al borde de un bosque de 800 acres a través del cual fluyen el río Casselman y el Gran Pasaje Allegheny. La cubierta elevada de 10 ′ x 34 ’con vista al bosque y al arroyo tiene una sección de 10 ′ x 22’ debajo del techo que permite el tiempo "al aire libre" incluso en días lluviosos.
The Woodland Cottage tiene una cocina totalmente equipada lista para cocinar, área de comedor con mesa y sillas, área de sala de estar con sillas de lectura y chimenea de gas (en la temporada del fin de semana del Día del Trabajo hasta el fin de semana del Día de la Madre), área del den actualmente con sofá cama, planeamos reemplazar esta unidad con un sofá, así que si planea utilizar esto como un espacio para dormir, envíenos una consulta.
El alquiler es para 2 adultos en una cama queen. Área de dormitorio con colchón, cubrecama y armario de tamaño queen.
La cabaña tiene acceso ADA y el baño tiene una gran ducha que cumple con ADA.
Afuera: la gran cubierta cubierta y abierta tiene un área de comedor, parrilla de gas, sillas cómodas, mesa de comedor con sillas y bancos (fin de semana del Día de los Caídos hasta el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo). Hay un anillo de fuego con bancos de madera. Se proporciona leña para una fogata que durará varias horas por cada noche de su estadía. Leña adicional está disponible por una tarifa razonable. Otros dos bancos rústicos se colocan en lugares más apartados para la soledad o discusiones privadas.
Calefacción y aire acondicionado están disponibles durante todo el año, según corresponda. Nuestra parrilla de gas está disponible en la cubierta trasera cubierta desde el fin de semana del Día de los Caídos en mayo hasta el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo en septiembre. - Chimenea de gas (Jodel) en la sala de estar desde el fin de semana del Día del Trabajo en septiembre hasta el fin de semana del Día de la Madre en mayo.

This cozy cabin in the woods was meticulously, tidy, had so many amenities already provided, and we absolutely loved that the birds flocked to their established feeders. If you are looking for a place of peace and a natural retreat, we recommend this place very very highly.

It was a nice place to stay on the last couple of days of our vacation. We especially liked the back deck and the chance to see lots of wildlife from there. (A variety of birds, chipmunks, squirrels, a young raccoon, and a mother deer and her fawn)

Wonderful

We have stayed at the Woodland Cabin many times, it is our go-to for a weekend away from home. Mona and Bryon are very nice people and see to it that everything is there that you might need. Cabin is always spotless, kitchen is fully equipped plenty of movies to watch, books to read. But sitting on the back deck watching the birds, squirrels etc is our favorite activity. Thank you to Mona and Bryon!

Weekend Getaway

This was our 4th time staying at the cottages at Campbell Farm and as always everything was perfect. The hosts are top notch and very responsive. The location and amenities are perfect for a secluded getaway close to Ohio Pyle and numerous other locations nearby. A as always!

The peace and tranquility of the cabin provided us with a much needed break from our daily lives. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders. Although it rained much of the weekend and was unseasonably cold, we were able to go on a long walk on the trails on the property. With so much to do in the area we plan to visit again.

What a perfect, peaceful weekend!

Where do I start?! What a peaceful and perfect weekend. I would do this 365 days a year if I could. What a great spot, immersed in nature. The first night we had a bonfire- we saw 3 planets and plenty of stars in the night sky. Both mornings were spent bird watching- there are so many!!!! What great placement for the feeders. We loved all of the movies, the kitchen, and just how cozy and peaceful ever second was. Thank you so much. We miss it already!

A well-designed cabin and a great place to stay.

We stayed there to visit Falling Waters. It was conveniently located for this purpose. The stay was highly enjoyable both because of the cabin and the warm hospitality extended by the owners. We would go back to hike or just for a getaway.

Private retreat

We had a please stay at this house off the beaten path. The house is clean and well stocked with nature all around you. The host showed us how to make maple syrup at our request!!! We hope to stay at this house again in the future.

Thanksgiving Getaway

We enjoyed our snowy Thanksgiving in cozy and comfortable Woodland Cottage relaxing and watching the birds. Spent quiet time catching up on The New Yorker and The Smithsonian Magazine. The hosts are friendly, helpful and generous. We look forward to our next visit!

Absolutely Perfect!

A friend and I stayed here for two nights while on a fishing trip. This place is extremely quiet, clean, and comfortable. Mona went above and beyond to make us feel at home during our stay. We accidentally left a pair of pants there after we checked out and left town, and Mona was kind enough to put them in the mail and return them to us. I highly recommend checking this place out if you need to just get away!!!

Great, relaxing place

The peacefulness of this place inside and out cannot be beat. It was nice to be close to the things we wanted to do: hike, bike, and tour around Confluence/Ohiopyle/Meyersdale and yet feel peace and privacy in the woods. Bird watching on the back porch is the best.

Lovely getaway

Lovely weekend getaway with my husband. Great little cottage, clean, back to nature. Enjoyed watching the birds from the covered porch. Everything we needed was there. Great communication with owners. We almost asked to stay an extra night! Very peaceful.

Perfect Space to Calm Your Head

Mona and Bryon have really created a peaceful oasis with this spot. The woods surrounding the house are incredibly lush and have nice, easy to follow, trails. The bird watching is unbeatable on the covered deck. I have stayed in the cottage many many times and have found it exactly the same every time...clean, quiet, and well appointed. Can't wait to come back in the fall!

Another great weekend at the Woodland Cottage!

Another peaceful July 4th holiday. Enjoying watching the birds at the feeders and the coolness of the woods on top of the mountain. Mona and Bryon have created an idyllic place to get away from the work-a-day and disconnect for a few days. The cabin is well equipped with everything that you can possibly need. We have stayed here many times, one of the few places we keep returning to. We have stayed in summer and fall. In January we are going to see what it's like in the winter. We really hope it snows that weekend. Thanks to Mona and Bryon for the cabin. Already looking forward to our return.

My daughter and I can’t say enough positives about our stay at this location. Everything about it was top-notch. Every possible need was anticipated and provided for. The kitchen was supplied to care for every possible cooking and serving need. We loved sitting out on the covered deck overlooking the yard below and the birdfeeders that attracted numerous kinds of birds. We enjoyed the table top gas grill on the deck. The extensive DVD movie collection was a special bonus. All of the furniture was very comfortable. We are already looking forward to coming back again next year.

Hiking Retreat

The cottage was the perfect setting to relax after a day of hiking. The cottage was well equipped and inviting. Centrally located but far enough away to emerse in beautiful woodland retreat. We enjoyed the view from the deck watching many young birds practiced flying close to thier bird house placed high in the tree and saw Cardinals and red winged blackbird at the feeder all while drinking morning coffee on esthic woodland rockers. Rain or shine. Plenty of wood for campfires each night. Pamphlets on attractions, maps, bird identification, and a book on picking the perfect trail were handy as well as a games cards puzzles and extensive collection of DVDs. Host was very accessible and readily helped with suggestions for finding live music. We didnt miss TV and would definately recommend and visit again

We love being able to stay in a wooded, quiet environment (apart from birds chirping and creek sounds)... while also enjoying modern conveniences. This is the only property we've returned to again and again.

Mona and Bryson are the greatest hosts. I have stayed at many properties throughout the years but no one compares to them and their properties I highly recommend any of their rentals. They go the extra mile to make your stay as wonderful as possible. From fresh cut flowers on the table, to all the spices needed to cook. This property is a little piece of heaven. Warm and cozy ❤️ can’t wait to go back Thanks so much Mona and Bryson!
