“Unbelievably cheap stay. Lovely en suite room with sea view. Staff very friendly and helpful. My first stay in a YHA in nearly 30 years and experience was so good I’m looking to come again. Only gripe would be internet signal in rooms a bit poor ”

We stayed in the annexe which met all our needs but if ever the opportunity to return would love to stay in the main hotel. “Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing...

This hotel is right on the beach, so suited our needs perfectly,
We were given a lovely room overlooking the sea & right next to the lift (which made things easier for my mobility issues)
The staff were most welcoming & friendly.

“Greeted by very welcoming and helpful staff on arrival. Was allowed to check in earlier,which was a blessing.
The room was sunny, airy, clean and spacious. Bathroom a bit dated but very clean.
Room service available if you need one. On site secure parking as well as gym, pool ( small but pleasant). Withing bar area additional space for eating and entertainment like table tennis ( free of charge) pool and air hockey tables.
Staff on site polite,friendly and easy to talk to. ”
“I had a very pleasant stay at Quayside Quarters. It’s in a quiet street just off the quay in Poole. My room was clean and comfortable and the owners made sure I got in OK and allowed me to leave my bag in the building for a couple of hours after I vacated the room. I would certainly like to stay again when next I need accommodation in Poole.”

You do have to be prepared to drive up a small hill and parking can be quite tight but it’s well worth it for such a spotless and modern room which provided a really comfortable stay.
