En el corazón del Russian River Wine Valley, el Attic at the Red Chateau se encuentra en el último piso de una casa de campo antigua con entrada privada. Al entrar, te sientes como si hubieras entrado en una encantadora casa en el árbol en el bosque. Con más de 600 pies cuadrados y comodidades modernas, el espacio cuenta con ángulos únicos, un diseño interesante, muchas ventanas con vistas al bosque y a la cascada, que incluyen hermosas y antiguas ventanas redondeadas de "vidrio corredizo". Aunque no es un castillo y ya no es rojo, el nombre se ha mantenido desde 1929. El espacio lo invita a acurrucarse en el asiento de la ventana de la esquina con un libro o beber vino en la sala de estar frente a la estufa para relajarse en el invierno. Para los meses más cálidos hay una terraza privada y un sendero cercano que lo lleva a una playa de arena en el río ruso donde se puede nadar, hacer kayak y tomar el sol: a unos 7 minutos a pie del Parque Estatal Steelhead Beach. Perfect Stay at The Attic!
What a cool little spot - the unit is outfitted with everything you need, and nothing you don't need. The location is awesome, it's right near Steelhead Beach and a few miles from both Forestville and Guerneville. The unit does get a little hot being on the top floor, but a few fans and open windows make it perfect in the evening. Was even able to cook a few meals there. Absolutely 10/10 and will definitely return. Thanks Russ for the communication and assistance during the stay, can't wait to come back!

The unit was immaculate! Very well appointed and updated. It is nestled in the woods but very close to River Road and downtown Forestville. It has everything anyone could need. We enjoyed our stay.

Like living in the treetops
Look in any direction and you’re looking at the upper branches of trees. In addition, the patio areas around the house are full of beautiful and well-maintained potted plants and flowers. Great location for access to wine country or the sea coast. Russ is a friendly and helpful host.

LOVE the Attic at the Red Chateau
Perfect place for a jump off point for the Russian River Valley. The Attic is nicely put together, cozy, and off the beaten path. Loved playing cards on the secluded deck. Russ was quick to respond when we couldn't figure out how to access Netflix:) Hope to maybe someday make it to Russ's rental in Mexico. Highly recommend the Attic in the Red Chateau!!

Red Attic Tree House
We enjoyed our stay at the Red Attic nestled in the beautiful trees. Charming and eclectic. The views out every window we’re amazing! Location close to all the wineries. The one way street is a little crazy to get to the house so recommend checking in before dark. The recommendation for dinner at the Russian River Pub by the owner was greatly appreciated! The food was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing Red Chateau
Our stay at the Red Chateau was absolutely magical. The spot is a perfect getaway for two. We went wine tasting, fine dining and cooked a few meals too. Sitting under the stars on the incredible patio was a highlight. We’ll be back in a few months and I know where we’ll be staying!

Quaint and Cozy Retreat in the Trees
We had a lovely time at The Attic. It’s close to wineries, great restaurants, and the Redwoods. It’s an adorable place for two. We loved watching the trees sway outside the antique windows as we enjoyed our morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

Our Favorite So Far!!
Charming-Magical-Adorable Nice setting in the trees with views and beautiful old windows. Nice job was done with the décor with special touches throughout – So cozy and comfortable. We loved the location close to wineries, river, and little towns to explore. Our host Russ was so helpful providing us with recommendations for wineries and restaurant. This is a good one! The worst part of our stay was having to leave, but hope to return soon.

Charming Apartment
VERY charming apartment with some very special amenities such as antique windows and view to the babbling waterfall. Host is very thoughtful and accomodating. One does need to take care with the steps inside the apartment.

The attic is the perfect size for 2 people, with a very small but functional kitchen. We were disappointed that basic amenities such as toilet paper and paper towels were not provided. I’m sure Russ would have responded quickly but we bought some at the store instead.

FANTASTIC Location - Great Host - Everything we wanted
We knew very little about Sonoma County, so we had no idea how perfect this location is... easy access and so close to the well-known and lesser known super-cute towns, and only about 25 minutes from the ocean. Great restaurants everywhere, of course. And you can walk to a great little beach on Russian River from the house. Russ, the host, is great guy and a good communicator, so everything was easy. And the place itself is SO sweet. Beautifully and tastefully decorated, but practical, too. Bedroom has beautiful huge window looking out on trees and skyline. Bathroom is luxurious. We picked this place largely for the price and the "idea" of "the attic," but we got so much more. You will love it.
