“The cottage on the whole is lovely.. there’s so much wildlife & it’s very quiet & peaceful.. but uncomfortable, the chesterfield sofa & chair are old & torn.. and the other sofa is a spare bed which is ok but not the best to sit on. The main bed is uncomfortable & the bedding could be replaced. The owners were lovely & did contact to check our stay was going well, which it was otherwise. It’s a lovely location & we did enjoy our stay. I would still recommend.”

“The property was lovely.we had a problem with the shower.the owner fixed it within minutes. When we arrived there was a dishwasher full of dirty dishes.and empty sweet papers in a draw. The bunk bed and the bed near the roof was so hot we slept on the sofas. It would of been nice to have a welcome hamper with local items .as other places we’ve stayed in have. Also some games .cards.or books. The hot tub was lovely.and the area is beautiful.”

“Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!”

“The cottage is lovely. I was a little surprised/disappointed by the close proximity of other houses as the pictures make it look quite rural. A good sized cottage with a beautiful garden leading out onto a recreation ground which was ideal for the children and walking the dogs. The cottage was well equipped and spacious with modern amenities including a lovely coffee machine and range cooker. Unfortunately there were somethings that we felt could be improved on. “We were greeted by our host who had kindly allowed us to deposit our luggage ahead of moving into the cottage. The cottage itself is cosy and well appointed with an Aga stove in the kitchen that keeps the cottage warm. It has a small but well kept garden with table and chairs for outside dining if desired. Also parking for two cars. We took some wonderful trips in the area where many of the villages have thatched cottages. There is a post office and village shop close by and local pubs within...

“We really loved staying at this house. It’s in the perfect location, stepping out straight into the woods. We spotted 4 deer at sunset on one day, and came across many of the wild horses that roam around in the area. Several great walks in nearby woods too. We recommend visiting the Raptor Centre nearby too. The house was perfect for us. Everything you could need. It was clean & tidy. We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco & a lovely chocolate cake! Anne greeted us and came to say goodbye...
