FABULOUS, except.....
It was perfect for our girls trip since 3 separate bathrooms. Unfortunately, the seagulls have free rein on the deck, so we didn't spend much time actually sitting out there due to the soiled area. But the wall of glass for viewing was nice. Also, the access stair flight is really long....challenging for anyone with bad knees or asthma. But we knew that, and dealt with it.

First and Best Visit
Five older women looking for a great place to stay while visiting the Oregon Coast from Arizona. We all loved the location, view, and the decor of this beautiful place. We sat outside on the deck each morning and evening enjoying the sights. We shopped and ate in Old Town all within walking distance. The communication was excellent and the treats left appreciated. We all enjoy our morning coffee and we’re thrilled to see Starbucks instead of some cheap coffee brand. We are older so the stairs were a small issue for just one visitor. However, if you’re above a business overlooking the river, there will be stairs. Thank you for all the extras that made our stay special. Loved our visit and your place.

Great getaway

Wonderful in Every Way
This immaculately clean and beautifully decorated condo has been outfitted perfectly: Everything from dreamy beds and bedding, to comfortable seating in the living room, to the amazing section of teas and perfect coffeemaker. Perfect. The view is expansive and lovely, watching the crabbers, fishermen and birds is a wonderful way to enjoy the area from this most cimfirtable “nest”. The host is communicative and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a rental unit more highly.

Fabulous Florence
This is our second stay at the Bay Window, and we enjoyed ourselves once again. The amenities are lovely, clean, comfortable, every detail taken care of from coffee to shampoo to beautiful views. Highly recommend.

The property was great. One of the best VRBO stays we have had. The only additional comment is that there are a lot to stairs in this place. 24 steps from the entrance to the first floor. There are also 8 additional steps from the first floor to the top floor where the kitchen and living areas are. The deck and view from it are worth all the stairs if you don't have a problem with stairs.

Better than You Expect
As someone who travels in VRBOs every year I have to say this owners dedication to making you comfortable and have an enjoyable trip is over the top. We had driven for hours and opened the door and thought “Oh my”. Look at all those stairs and all our bags , but within minutes we had our “necessary stuff” upstairs and were taken in by the amazing views and comfortable living area overlooking the Bay. The downtown area is frankly adorable and we experienced three places you must check out. We did high tea at Lovejoys and was fun especially since after that we went to Sandland Adventures and roared through the dunes - it was so fun! We have coffee at the River Roasters it was wonderful. Ate at the waterfront depot - make a reservation and it was delightful. For a sandwich or a great breakfast burrito - Linda did it deli was great ! Strolling from this home is so leisurely and makes the whole package wonderful. On a side note the beds are the best and after going all day felt like climbing into a cloud. Absolutely loved this place and would recommend to anyone coming to Florence.

Great view/location
Place is as advertised. It has great separation of space for living and sleeping. The place is clean and comfortable with a fantastic view. We really appreciated the location and being able to explore downtown Florence simply by walking out the door.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed on the coast
I go to the coast a lot and this has to be one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The view is perfect, the apartment is clean, comfortable and has just about everything you’ll need (the beds might be too comfortable tbh). And the owner/manager seems incredibly easy to get a hold of (never needed to though). The apartment is split-level with bedrooms on one floor and the living on another and the short stairs have some funky angles that could prove a little challenging if you…let’s say, enjoyed your night too much or have severe joint issues. But even then, not too bad especially as there are only like 10 steps. The only negative has nothing to do with the property itself and something which the owner’s have no control over and that’s parking. Old Town has three hour parking limits on Bay Street and the immediate side streets so if you have more than one car in your party you’ll have to do some creative shuffling and have a little luck on your side. It’s honestly not a deal breaker and not a big deal, but good to know going in if you have an issue with that sort of thing. Overall an absolute gem of a property in a great locale (the Siuslaw River Bridge is my favorite of the coastal bridges so seeing it every day was a cherry on top of a great stay). Thanks!
