Situado en el fabuloso barrio artesanal, virgen significa que puede experimentar el verdadero sabor de la vida florentina. Rodeado de grandes restaurantes locales, estudios de artistas, tiendas individuales, tiendas vintage, tiendas de alimentos frescos y orgánicos, tiendas y mercados semanales diarias.

Two Weeks in Florence
The apartment was perfect for my two-week stay in Florence studying Italian. It is charming (it looks just like the pictures). The location is wonderful. You feel like you are living in a Florentine neighborhood, with lots of little restaurants just steps away. The check-in was easy and friendly. I had one small question on the first day, which the owner answered immediately. I can't wait to go back!

Perfect place for our family
We had a wonderful stay. The location is out of the hustle and bustle but an easy walk with two children. It was quiet but less than 3 minutes to some of the best Italian food and fun. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

First time in Florence
Great neighborhood! There were so many amazing places all within walking distance, shops, bakeries, restaurants, cafes. Would definitely stay in the same area again. The flat was perfect for me and my sister. It had everything we needed. The house manager was very responsive and even helped us book taxis to the airport.

Little oasis in Florence
If you are looking to relax and take a break from hotel stays, this is your place in Florence. The apartment is exactly as the photos portray, very spacious, comfortable and in a gem of a neighbourhood. There are excellent restaurants nearby and it is an easy and interesting walk into the centre of Florence, passing many shops, restaurants and even the Babae wine window along the way. The kitchen is well equipped and we started our day with a good cup of coffee and fresh groceries from the store just around the corner. We even did some laundry while there. Valentina and Viviana were both excellent to communicate with and we had no issues with booking, obtaining information or accessing the unit. If we are fortunate enough to return to Florence, we will definitely choose to stay here again.

Convenient and Quiet
This is a great spot just across the river and away from the crowds and noise of the historic area. That said it is just a short walk to everything. Our host was wonderful and very helpful in guiding us to great places to eat. We had a very busy but enjoyable time!

Great stay!
The property was gorgeous, and met our needs nicely. We were able to walk anywhere we needed to go. We felt safe, and even with being in the city, we didn’t hear any noise from the outside, with the exception of bells from a bell tower in the morning. I wish our check in had been a little more detailed. The property owner’s assistant met us, and was very nice,

Long week in Florence
My teenage son and I accompanied my college-age daughter to Florence to move her in for her study abroad. We wanted to arrive a little early and have plenty of space so we rented this apartment instead of an expensive hotel for the week. The hostess and her assistant were so responsive and so kind. Offering to help us with taxis, telling us about the neighborhood, and letting us leave our bags in the apartment until our evening flight (check out was 10am). We loved being in a ‘local’ area instead of a tourist area. Great breakfast spot, cheaper groceries, etc. I will say that it is a 20 minute walk to attractions and museums. And 5 minute walk if you want a taci. But we felt very safe and enjoyed the space. The kitchen was fully equipped. Would stay again!

Great location, just outside the tourist zone.
It was a pleasant experience with a few areas that could use improvement. The location is fantastic, with top-rated restaurants just steps away, making dining out incredibly convenient. The home itself offers plenty of space, which was perfect for our group as we never felt cramped and had ample room to relax. However, there were a few downsides. The Wi-Fi only worked reliably in the living room, which wasn’t a huge issue for us, but it might be frustrating if you’re planning to work from different parts of the house, like the kitchen table or the bedroom. Additionally, the property could benefit from a deep clean. The floors were dusty, and walking around barefoot left our feet quite dirty. The couches have covers that could use a good wash, and the throw pillows are definitely past their prime. The property is managed by a large rental company, which seems to be becoming more common. While this ensures a certain level of service, it also means the personal touches you might expect from an individual host aren’t as present. With some simple upgrades and a thorough cleaning, this place could easily earn a five-star rating. Despite these issues, the location and spaciousness make this property a solid choice, especially if you plan to spend most of your time out exploring the area. With a bit more attention to detail, it has the potential to be truly exceptional.

The property is very nice. The pictures dont do it justice. We stayed 3 nights and it was a nice base. The plug sockets are the old style and our travel adapter wouldnt fit any plugs except 1 in the bedroom. The aircon isnt great

Næsten perfekt
Lejligheden var velholdt og rummelig. Der var alt, hvad vi skulle bruge og med god airconditioning. Og så ligger den det allerbedste sted i byen - tæt på centrum, med gode butikker og restauranter omkring, men uden turistkaos. Det eneste men er, at den lille terrasse lå tæt på bygningens udluftning, så der var alt for meget larm.

A quintessential Italian apartment
A lovely apartment. Check in was easy and delightful with Viviana. The location is fabulous and the architectural features of the apartment (the ceilings) are gorgeous. A slight drawback is the noise from the neighbours, but to soundproof the rooms you would lose the beauty of the ceilings etc. The bedrooms could do with some hooks on the walls for hanging clothes, but drawer space is ample. The second bedroom could use a mirror. These are all minor things, in the pursuit of an authentic Italian experience. I would happily stay here again.

Fantastic stay in Florence!
This roomy and beautiful apartment was perfect for our stay in Florence. Lovingly cared for and decorated, this spacious apartment was a close walk to many major attractions while still being located in a quiet and tranquil neighborhood. After hours of seeing the sights everyday, this was the ideal oasis to come home to. And there’s a wonderful little restaurant right across the street! Fantastico! !

The VRBO is nicely located in a good neighborhood. It doesn’t have an elevator, and there are many steps if you are lugging significant luggage. We were happy with the Unit and it was a good introduction to Florence. The Wi-Fi hook up was confusing because when you are prompted to insert the password, it isn’t the numbers which are immediately next to the password designation on the information sheet, and it took quite some discussion with the property manager before she Showed us They were looking for the number directly below what was listed as the password on the information sheet. ultimately we got it sorted out, but it took Quite some to do so.

Spacious, great amenities, a little loud
Valentina's apartment is just how it looks in pictures - very spacious and well-equipped. Viviana met us at check in and gave us the run-down for the apartment and tips for nagivating the city. There are great restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as a pharmacy and a laundromat next door - super convenient. We had a little bit of neighbor noise from some construction nearby and the family upstairs, as well as the trattoria across the street when it was busy. There was also a little miscommunication with the linen service but the host was apologetic and assured us it was it was not common. Overall a great stay in the beautiful city of Florence!

Lovely apartment in an ideal location
My sister and I stayed here three nights and just loved the apartment and the location. The living room is so bright and cheery and was a great spot for a little downtime when we came in from our many walks around Florence. Location is just great in a neighborhood with many great options for food and drink and coffee. We just loved it and Viviana was a wonderful resource for us. This will be my first choice of accomodation if I'm fortunate enough to return to Florence.

Spacious and great location
Loved our stay in this property - it has plenty of room for our family of 4, especially appreciated having a little outdoor terrace as well. Was really nice to escape the craziness of the historic centre with the relative quiet of the Oltrarno neighbourhood, but still close to everything and lots of amenities close by. Both Valentina and Viviana, who met us, were very helpful. Only suggestion would be to have shampoo and conditioner available, or let us know in advance that there wasn't any. Please note, it is in a one floor walk up, with no elevator ( at least we didn't see one?) - not hard, but be aware it that might be in issue for you carrying luggage). The place was clean and tidy, althought the outdoor terrace could have used a little extra clean. Overall, we were very happy with our stay - and I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
