Clean, lovely, with fantastic views from a wonderful covered porch. We had a perfect stay. Beds were comfortable, and the setting is very quiet, ideal for rest. Things to know: one bedroom (not the master, and not the one with bunk beds) is loft style, and gets a lot of early morning light. If this bothers you, bring an eye mask. (If not, good: you will enjoy waking up to stunning sunrises.) It is about a 20-30 minute drive into Asheville. The road up the hill is a steep gravel road but we did just fine in our Honda Pilot SUV. In the areas at the base of the hill/mountain you will likely lose cell coverage, so program your directions well in advance. Once you are high atop the hill or in the house, our cellphones and wifi worked just fine (both blessing and curse!).
