The write up on this property was very misleading. A few pros but numerous cons. Starting with the Public bathroom which was hidden around the side of a storage unit. The path to reach the bathroom was through tall weeds. The shower room was a small area with a pull shower curtain right in the middle of the laundry room,; no door or means for privacy. Anyone could walk through the door who had a key to the enclosure. From there we traveled down a gravel road, which was to be expected, past piles of old junk on both sides of the narrow washed out road. Upon arriving at the cabin, we once again had to go through tall weeds and past a junky fire pit filled with trash. The cabin, once inside, was clean with new bedding on both beds. The inside amenities were accurate. There was a small microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a full-size refrigerator. However, the refrigerator was not working. The refrigerator side did not keep food cold and the freezer did not freeze. We lost several food items Due to the non-refrigerated conditions. If there was Wi-Fi a password was not given to access it..There were no curtains on the windows which allows campers across the road to look right into the cabin Or anybody driving by for that matter. The air conditioner did keep the cabin cool… If you like a musty smell to go along with the cool air coming out. To reach the fish stocked pond, walking through weeds was a must. again The pond was covered with green
Algae, however, did have pretty swans which was a pleasant sight to be seen. This could be a cute cabin in the woods with very effort put into. Cutting weeds, picking up trash/old junk, around the campground, and a few personal touches inside the cabin would certainly make staying here a pleasant experience rather than a scary horror movie. Finally, I must give the biggest pro to the property manager. She was very prompt to answer and provide necessary information.
