Pequeña casa en la cima de una colina: ¡VISTAS ESPECTACULARES!

Mi lugar, una construcción personalizada del pequeño constructor de casas presentado por HGTV Randy Jones, está en una cresta con vistas incomparables de 270 grados de Grandfather Mountain, las tres estaciones de esquí de la zona y en Mount Rogers de Tennessee y Virginia. Estamos ubicados a 20 minutos de Boone y West Jefferson, y más cerca que eso de las actividades de Blue Ridge Parkway y New River, como la pesca y el tubo. Si ha considerado la reducción de personal, o simplemente desea probar la escapada, ¡este es el lugar!

Tenga en cuenta que las revisiones de esta pequeña casa antes de 2020 son de su antigua ubicación justo al final de la carretera en Todd, Carolina del Norte. HomeAway / VRBO me exigió que comenzara una nueva lista debido al cambio de dirección, aunque tuve que mantener las revisiones. ¡Es la misma gran casa pequeña, ahora con VISTAS!

La pequeña casa está en un lugar tranquilo en la cima de una colina con solo otras cuatro propiedades (una segunda pequeña casa con ruedas y dos pequeñas cabañas construidas con palos). Solo, la pequeña casa es buena para parejas, aventureros en solitario, familias (con un niño o dos) y perros. Puedes alquilar toda la cima de la montaña para eventos. Combinadas, las cuatro propiedades tienen capacidad para 16 personas.

La pequeña casa cuenta con wifi, un televisor inteligente, una cocina surtida con un rango real y nevera. El amplio baño está equipado con artículos de tocador y ropa de cama. Hay un altillo al que se accede por escalones, no se requiere escalera, y dos sofás que se convierten en camas. El espacio se enfría y calienta de manera eficiente mediante una bomba de calor mini-split. Hay muchas ventanas para disfrutar de su entorno, así como una terraza con un banco personalizado y una mesa hecha de materiales recuperados.

En caso de nevadas, la conducción en las cuatro ruedas y la experiencia de conducir en la nieve son imprescindibles para recorrer la última milla y media hasta la casa. Si se pronostica nieve para su estadía y no se siente cómodo tratando de acceder a la propiedad, se le ofrecerá un reembolso completo. Sin embargo, si te sientes aventurero, definitivamente puedes caminar el último tramo o incluso tomar un paseo en un ATV lado a lado.

Fantastic Stay!

The property is beautiful, it overlooks the mountains, and it sits on a tree farm. My 2 grandbabies loved the house and looking out of the top story windows. The neighbor was a delight to talk to and gave us some history of the property. We will stay here again.

Team V's stay in a Tiny Home on top of Fleetwood
Great view! The location of this Tiny Home is excellent. Getting to it may be challenging for some once the paved road ends. Inside is compact, but efficiently built. Water pressure seemed to drop when other nearby units are occupied, but good otherwise. Thank you for the stay.

Everything was really nice. My only issues were the stove was very hard to use. Indicators have been rubbed off. The road was one way and was troublesome to get caught on. One time I had to back up down this mountainous road. It is a one way road. Meeting another vehicle is troublesome. I think a different mattress in the big loft would be better. I absolutely will stay there again. It will be my go to location

This is a cozy tiny home just right for someone wanting to get away from the bustle of town and enjoy the sights of nature. The loft beds add a touch that most kids will be excited about. Adults, too, should be ready to climb up! But if you choose to stay on the lower level, the futon does make a comfortable bed.

WOW this location is stunning!
We might plan a trip to Boone NC just to stay in this space again! It is about a 20 minute drive from downtown Boone, but a very easy one. The instructions for arriving at this location were perfectly handled and very easy to follow. We felt like we were alone on top of a mountain the entire stay and it was magical waking up to. The space was meticulously cleaned and smelled amazing. More than enough was provided for our stay and there is plenty of space inside and outside of the home. There are three other tiny homes on this hill but no one was present the entire stay and I could not find that any of these spaces were listed on VRBO or elsewhere. It would be a fantastic spot for a group of ppl if you were interested in occupying the entire hill, but having it to ourselves seemed so special!

Amazing place for a little getaway. No negative things to say at all. Very cute, very clean. Awesome views. Host contacted me a few times just to check in and always responded super quickly! Great Little House!
Check-in was seamless, house was clean, all appliances worked well....would recommend. This house is located off the beaten path and has amazing views. My son and I were riding the Blue Ridge Parkway on our motorcycles and chose this as a stopping point. We bought a few groceries at a nearby Food Lion and cooked burgers on the grill while enjoying a crazy cool sunset. The views from the deck of this house are simply stunning. Quick note for full transparency: Some of the pictures on VRBO *could* lead one to believe that this house is by itself, but there are 3 more tiny houses on the same property very close to this one. Wasn't a problem for us at all but I could see it being an issue if you happen to have unruly neighbors renting the other houses. We absolutely loved our stay at this tiny house and would definitely do it again!

Such beautiful views and very quiet and relaxing stay on top of the mountain. Very beautiful majestic sunset!! And the sunrise too! Just us and the animals and the rest of nature. Totally awesome tiny house on a very nice piece of land on top of the mountain. A must stay!!

Excellent mountain tiny house!
The view is amazing! You do have to take a tiny mountainous gravel road to get there. It is one of 4 tiny houses on the overlook (and it has the best view!). The house is clean. It has everything you need. It’s great to sit out on the porch and look at the mountains. We visited Boone and Grandfather Mountain during our 2 day visit. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I was hoping for
I had been curious about seeing a Tiny House and this didnt disappoint. Everything we needed was included and well organized and the location felt remote yet was only a 20 min drive to Boone which is a lively town. The view was spectacular and the property was shared with only a couple of other rentals. I was also surprised to have decent cellular service as well as wi-fi available. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing Views
This was our first time staying in a tiny house and it was adorable!!!!! We really enjoyed it and the views were amazing. I wasn't expecting other tiny houses to be around us but it was okay and everyone was very friendly. If there is a wish list I wish there was a blow dryer because I forgot mine....lol other than that it had everything you could want or need. They did a great job!!!!!! We will definitely be back next year!!!

Tiny house stay
My sister and I stayed at the tiny house and we absolutely loved it! The property was beautiful and flourishing with plants and wildlife. The house was clean and comfy. We slept with the windows open most nights and woke to birds chirping! It was like a fairytale. The tiny house was stocked with essentials and the host did an amazing job communicating and ensuring that we enjoyed ourselves. I’m so thankful we found this little spot and will definitely come back again one day!

Perfect Getaway
I cannot begin to express how much I needed this trip and loved staying at this tiny house. I actually have stayed at David’s other tiny house in Todd a couple years back for a quiet girls weekend with friends, so I was excited to see this property as well. The instructions were clear, and the house was well equipped with everything I needed. I had a small mishap on my second night there, but David was able to get back to me quickly and address the issue in a timely manner. I spent my evenings reading on the back deck and enjoying the breathtaking views. It was a peaceful getaway from the stress of working nightshift in the hospital. I didn’t want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful time and I hope to stay again sometime!
