Nice home in quiet convenient location
Overall: The home was comfortable and highly functional for our party of two couples. Location: Very nice quiet neighborhood, nice for walking, and having the garage makes parking easy. Furnishings: Adequate although very little drawer space in the 2 king bedrooms and only weak battery operated lamps on the nightstands in the second king bedroom. The kitchen was adequately stocked though a few items like spoons and non-metal spatulas were not plentiful. Cleanliness: Rugs in master bath and living room were dirty and several mugs in the kitchen had disgusting dried on beverage, maybe hot chocolate. But we did a small bit of cleaning to satisfy ourselves. Wifi: Adequate bandwidth when it worked correctly but we all had to re-login to the network multiple times, which got quite annoying. Host communication: Vacasa rep was very responsive in numerous text communications and took care of replacing an empty propane tank for the grill. Conclusion: We would return here on any future visit to Flagstaff.

Our stay!
The house was very nice and close to Sedona and Flagstaff. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The master bedroom had a clogged sink. The sheets were pilled. The other bedroom was good. The bed was very LOW for senior citizens. Our bath room was great. In the kitchen we were short on spoons. We didn’t get any stations on the TV. OTHERWISE ALL AND ALL IT WAS GREAT!

CONS: Very dirty rugs; dirty baseboards; super cheap toilet paper and paper towels!; no tissues; dusty furniture; no remote for TV in Master; cheap, uncomfortable sheets; electrical outlets in kitchen don’t work - only on island; PROS: Beautiful home; nice decor; well stocked kitchen; quiet neighborhood; extra large garage; comfortable bed; instant hot water.

Poor communication and cleanliness
We arrived after traveling for 17 hours to find that the kitchen counters had not been cleaned and there was pet hair everywhere. My wife is extremely allergic to pet hair, and we specifically booked this reservation because it stated there was a no pet policy. The sheets, towels, and chairs were covered in pet hair. I asked for cleaners to come upon our arrival. Cleaners never came during our stay. We finally received some new towels and sheets 24 hours after our arrival. When I asked for the local property manager to contact me no one ever responded. I asked if the owner was aware of the issues, but no one ever responded. It was my wife’s birthday weekend and she had a headache during the entire stay from the pet hair. I am escalating this claim further directly with VRBO. My wife and I own vacation properties and would be appalled if our guests had the same experience we had.

Nice home but fridge didn't work
The home is comfortable and lovely, but the water and ice dispenser kept breaking down. This is a long story. Short version. This fridge has had this problem before and Vacasa apparently knew it. They didn't tell us. They got a repair guy out soon enough but he said it would happen again....you have to pull the fridge out, unplug it, wait, plug it in again. We had long text messages with the Vacasa "team" but it was like communicating with a machine. Always starting over, so sorry, we'll look into it, we'll be back soon. Final word the night before we left: owner did not want to buy a new fridge.

Awesome home, cute decor!
I wish I could give this property 5 stars. So many good things about it. Wonderful location (5-8 min to major grocery stores, restaurants, etc), cute house decor (very modern and well done). Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood and great layout for a family to stay comfortably. We were just disappointed in the cleanliness upon check in. It didn't even look like they had really cleaned. Carpets were dirty, hardwood floors felt grimy to walk on, the beds and linens had hairs, debris, on them. We didn't even use the master bathroom because the comforter and sheets were covered in dirt and hairs and so was the carpet. The master bathroom shower had mold all around the bottom. Disappointing because it is such a great property! Just needs a good deep clean. The ice maker/water from the fridge didn't work and something was wrong with the dishwasher. The management company sent out a repair guy the next day which was great, he fixed the dishwasher but we still couldn't get the refrigerator to work on the control panel. Wifi was spotty. The management company was responsive and offered a small refund for the cleaning fee and offered to bring out fresh linens.

Very dirty
The property itself is in a great location and is fine. When we checked in it was evident that the place was pretty dirty. About half the dishes had food on them and were never washed prior to us getting there, the rugs were completely disgusting and need to be washed or get new ones. There was no propane in any of the tanks so we could not use the barbecue or the fire pit. There was not enough dishwasher detergent to run the dishwasher everyday, and it was apparent that there is a lack of oversight when cleaning the residents.

Great property in a quiet wooded neighborhood with parks nearby. We have stayed at several homes in this area over the last several years and this home is now one of our favorites. We will definitely be back.

Arizona Vacation
We loved our stay at the Wheeler Place. The location was nice and quiet, outside of town, which was fine to get away from any crowds. The property was clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes, spices, and miscellaneous pantry supplies for cooking a few meals. There are a couple of grocery stores only 5 minutes away. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out. The front porch is nice to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or gaze at the sky at night. There's also a nice patio area between the garage and the house which would certainly be nice in the cooler months. We would certainly recommend the Wheeler Place!

Flagstaff trip from Alabama
This place was amazing!!! We are from South Alabama and we went to see the Grand Canyon, but also fell in love with this house and beautiful Flagstaff! The house was so clean with lots of amazing little extras! It was comfortable and felt like home for the week we visited! Thank you for an awesome experience!
