The cabin was perfect! Very clean and comfortable. We brought our meals and the cabin had all the supplies we needed. We forgot plastic wrap and left over containers though, that would have been nice to have. The cabin was plenty warm for October and next time we’ll use the outside fire pit! Great location and easy to get to. We loved our stay.

Almost like home.
Things were there that you basically need at home but in our case surrounded by trees. Very close to Ephraim, Peninsula State Park entrance and Eagle Tower. Must visit. We even had a fire pit; used twice. Supply your own wood. Very quiet!

Very quaint cottage set in a woods like setting. The cottage has all the amenities of home from all the cookware, dishes, bedding and towels. Very nice. We had a wonderful time in Door County!

Fantastic location Beautiful property with some caveats.
Nicely located between Sister Bay and Egg Harbor. Beautiful property on the state forest preserve. Nice cozy cottage from the late 50s. Enough amenities to get by. Nice sized flatscreen Roku TV with cable and DVD player. Beautiful property with enough space between neighbors to feel secure and private. Easy to get in and out of cottage and in and out of property. There were some issues that need some attention from the owner. Not much you can do about the shower if you are a large person you will be very uncomfortable it’s about 3‘ x 3‘. The showerhead is a complete disaster it’s been split open so water streams in all directions from behind it and barely any water comes out of the nozzle. Very uncomfortable shower! It takes 3 to 5 minutes to get hot water out of the bathroom sink, there’s nearly 0 water pressure. The toilet is nice but the toilet seat feels like it’s going to slide off when you sit on it. It’s just very cheap thin plastic. The stove is great but it angles forward so anything you put into it just runs to the front of the pan. The sofa and the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. So watching TV was not a pleasant experience. Not that many people are going to watch TV on vacation,

Wonderful Door County Cabin
We completely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful door county cabin. With all the beautiful sites just 15 to 20 minutes away, we were able to enjoy our weeklong stay. When we come back we will definitely stay here again!

Awesome property
We had a great time staying in Door County at this cute cottage! When we got there, there were fresh flowers from the garden in a vase on the table, and I thought that was a really nice touch. It was so peaceful and quiet that you'd never guess it's right off the road! It was great to be able to walk into the park to hike some trails and enjoy nature. The cottage was absolutely perfect for my husband and me. As mentioned in other reviews, the shower is a bit on the small side, and the cookie sheet doesn't fit in the oven (haha), but neither of those things were a big deal to us. One tip for locking the doors that look like they don't have locks - you have to push in and turn the doorknob, and then the doorknob will be locked. I would highly recommend staying at this property during your visit to Door County!

This was an ok place to stay. The WiFi here was extremely spotty. The water didn’t come out too fast from the shower head, which makes washing long & thick hair tricky. The curtains in the bathroom were pretty much see through, which made things a bit awkward when you got out of the shower and someone is staying at the cottage by the bathroom window.

Cozy, clean and charming little cabin is perfect for a Door County get-away. The location is great, minutes away from everything and still nestled in the woods! The cabin has everything you need to cook meals, relax and have campfires. I would come back again! Great little property for up to 4 people to have a good time away!

Location is very clean. Simple but comfortable. Great central location in Door County. Maybe a few extra blankets in closets may be helpful. We could only get water in the bathroom faucet to run cold. We had not issue in the shower.

I would stay here again. Nice cabin, plenty of space, kitchen had everything you need. Only issue was... was charged more on credit card then initial online form said...and no one has responded to my question on why.

Way beyond expectation!
We stayed in the Butternut Cottage and were blown away by how clean and convenient the property was. Its located right next to the park and in between Ephraim and Fish Creek for a maximum amount of access to towns and recreation. The only downside was no fire pit for this cabin, but we were able to use the one on an adjacent cabin since no one was there for our stay. Debbie was super responsive and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a small family
Wonderful place. Great location in the middle of the Bay-front strip of towns to explore. You feel like you’re in the woods but only minutes away from all the action. The only negative would be very low water pressure in the shower, but that would not dissuade me from returning here.

Pleasant stay in Door County
The cottage was clean, convenient location, and beats a small motel room. Can bike directly into the state park. Bed was comfortable and having the living room and kitchen was nice after a long day hiking, biking, or picking cherries. Two things to be aware of: While the road and lane give you a sense you are nestled back in the quiet woods, the lane actually doubles back and the cottage is steps from the highway. This is not a problem other that the constant drone of cars passing by. Also, the bathroom door needs to be adjusted.....It does not close fully. I would recommend this cottage to anyone staying in Door County!
