“Absolutely stunning place! Came with my dog and my sister for our yearly girls' trip, and it was amazing. The pond was beautiful; we sat out on the deck for dinner just about every night and watched the sunset. The location is excellent as well, and we really enjoyed all the nearby parks and trails.”

A few things could use a little TLC, and the listing updated to reflect. “The property was in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. Im not used to neighbors as close as they were but it was a quiet neighborhood which we tried to maintain also. The house was well appointed with most everything you'd need to prepare a meal, just be sure to purchase cooking spray and plastic wrap or tin foil if they are going to be needed. And definitely don't attempt the driveway from a right hand turn, being there I can see why those instructions are given. ”

Don't miss the trails behind the house and do try the sauna. Instructions in the "green book" are very helpful for setting up sauna, TV, temperature control and the fireplace. ”

“This property was amazing. It was clean, updated, and in a beautiful location where you can see the ocean through the trees. The hosts provided a lot of great information about the island. We saw some deer grazing one morning which was awesome. We were vacationing in the PNW for 2 weeks and we both said we wished we had spent more of our vacation on Orcas in this great place. “What a relaxing and fantastic weekend we had! The house was super clean and so cozy. Great fireplace and the views of the lake were spectacular! Only 1 bathroom, but we made it work - and there is a separate bedroom above the garage. Great privacy. The kitchen was well laid out and had almost everything we needed. “Our VRBO rental on Lopez Island was a very relaxing place. It was easy to find, The property was in a beautiful secluded spot on the island. Most evenings we drove / hiked to Shark Reef Sanctuary to watch the sunset. 50 years ago I first visited the San Juan Islands, and I hoped someday I would return. “We loved our stay at the Q house in Anacortes. The cottage was neat, clean, quiet and very comfortable, especially the king bed! It was easy to get to shopping, restaurants, parks and the ferry on the island by car. The ferry to San Juan island's Friday Harbour was a highlight. We could walk to the Tommy Thompson trail and Bob's chowder bar for lunch and some nearby antique and thrift shops. Parking in the driveway was a bonus!
