Nuestra cabaña tiene una hermosa vista del lago desde el comedor y la cubierta en la parte delantera. También tenemos una terraza en la habitación de arriba donde puedes ver ciervos y vida salvaje en los campos detrás. La cocina está totalmente amueblada con microondas encima de la cocina eléctrica y horno, lavavajillas, tostadora, cafetera, batidora y licuadora. Ollas y sartenes y platos también están amuebladas. Tenemos 3 habitaciones, con 2 reinas y una doble, con un colchón de espuma debajo de una cama para persona extra. Usted suministra sábanas y toallas. Hay un sofá, cómodas sillas y un televisor de pantalla plana, reproductor de DVD y Netflix. También tenemos WiFi para que te conectes a internet. Hay una parrilla de carbón en la cubierta delantera, un columpio y una mesa de picnic en el área del patio, con un pozo abierto para fogatas. Suministramos dos botes de remos, un muelle y una balsa. Beautiful, secluded property. The views were beautiful. Enjoyed fishing the lake. Great set up with hiking trails, bon fire pit and swing. Cozy, comfortable cabin. Beds were comfortable. Fit all our needs.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed at the chalet for the first time after staying at the A-frame for several visits. We loved the open concept inside, the beautiful views, the awesome fire pit area and the wonderful beach! Our host was very patient and helpful with my many questions. We donated an Uno Quattro game to the game closet and hope others enjoy it. We hope to be back next year!

Peaceful quite weekend with great service
See Title The only reason there were not five stars for cleanliness and accuracy. Tub drain was clogged with LOTS of hair that I was able to pull out myself. Advertised life jackets were missing, so could not use boats, but weather not cooperative anyway. Everything else worked fine!! and they were appreciative of our calls notifying of miner issues. Owner was VERY cooperative taking my phone calls and responding. We love this place as well as the conversations with the owner. In spite of a deluge of rain on Friday we had a great time through the weekend.

Clean, beautiful and peaceful!
The cabin was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and well maintained. All needed info was provided ahead of time and on the cork board in the hallway. We could hear occasional sounds from distant neighbors, but the property still felt very secluded and private. Did some kayaking on the nearby AuSable River…prettiest we’ve seen! Nearby towns are well kept and friendly, too. Overall a wonderful and too-short vacation!

Very private secluded cabin on private lake. Lots of trails and places to wonder looking at abundant wildlife. Had a few lazy rainy days where we just watched Netflix and napped. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to unplug from the rat race. We will return!

Peaceful Getaway Amongst the Trees
I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage last year with my family and dogs, and we had a wonderful time. The location was easy to find, and the pictures and description in the listing were accurate. The property was peaceful and secluded, surrounded by lovely trails full of wildflowers and butterflies, providing a tranquil environment to unwind in. One of my favorite spots was the swing bench, nestled among the trees, which offered beautiful views of the lake and was perfect for birdwatching. The owners were quick to respond when I had to contact them and I appreciated their attentiveness. They even left a complimentary bottle of maple syrup, which was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere of the cottage. The upstairs deck also offered stunning views of the surrounding forest and was another great spot for birdwatching. My dogs especially enjoyed exploring the trails and soaking up the peaceful surroundings, while my family enjoyed spending time together in the beautiful natural setting. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family and pets. Thank you to the owners for providing such a wonderful place to stay!

Great Getaway
Perfect tucked away location for a quiet getaway. Good driving distance from hiking trails, and Alpena is a great day trip from here. Make sure to get donuts from Fairview Family Restaurant- the best we’ve ever had. Would love to check it out in the summer with the kids!

Amazing Views
This was our second time staying at The Chalet. We love the peace and quiet it has to offer. The views are absolutely beautiful and the cabin itself is very cozy. I can say with a smile on my face that if you want to make some moments matter to cherish for a life time this is the place to stay.

Seclusion at it's best
We had a wonderful time, wish there was more time available here. Hiking trails were great for the kids and dog. The lake was very low this year but we still caught fish right off the dock. We would love to come back when the water level is up! The property manager couldn't have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
