“We enjoyed our stay at this lovely family bach in Ngakuta bay. Location was great, right on the water, Ngakuta loop trail, and the link trail. We enjoyed the toys and game room. This is a classic kiwi bach and you need to bring your own sheets and towels. We did not hear back when we inquired about the possibility of renting linens. The property is what we expected from a kiwi back and we really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Lovely location, tucked away in Grovetown. Owners house is on the same site about 50 metres away. Very tidy and in excellent condition. Bach is not the building in the photo, but a part of the bottom floor - doesn't have a kitchen as such - just bench. So cooking is plug in electic hob and bench oven. No water in kitchen, so food, washing is all to be done in thebasin in bathroom next to the toilet - which is a bit of a pain if people are in the bathroom.”

“Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely stay again. Whole house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is nice and private. “The place was dirty. Marks from spills on the wall, dust on counter tops in bedrooms, cobwebs in corners etc etc. the bath towels were lovely but very disappointed with the standard of cleaning. We have taken photos and think it reasonable to ask for a refund of the cleaning fee as it clearly needed doing before our arrival. Will await your response. Thanks”

We were really ready to simply rest and relax in a beautiful spot at this point in our vacation and this was perfect for our family of four. Everyone had privacy but it was also well provisioned for a family.
