Retiro tranquilo semi-aislado de Rock Island

Rock Island Retreat es un gran lugar en el país para que las personas se relajen del ajetreo y el bullicio de la vida cotidiana. Esta propiedad tiene un lago de cuatro acres para canotaje, bote de remos y natación. La pesca puede estar permitida en algunas áreas solo por solicitud.
Nuestra casa recientemente remodelada tiene capacidad para seis personas cómodamente. Las habitaciones para dormir incluyen dos habitaciones con camas matrimoniales y una habitación con dos camas individuales. Se proporcionan toallas y ropa de cama. Tenemos dos baños completos; uno incluye una lavadora y secadora grandes. Tendrá que traer sus propios suministros de lavandería.
El piso de arriba tiene capacidad para dos habitaciones y tiene una gran sala de estar con libros, juegos, TV y películas, lo sentimos, no hay cable o Wi-Fi. Una pequeña cubierta de arriba con asientos se encuentra fuera de la sala de estar.
La cocina y el comedor son de concepto abierto y la cocina está totalmente equipada, desde la cafetera hasta el sacacorchos. Al entrar a la cocina desde el exterior, se pasa por un amplio y cómodo solárium para disfrutar de un café por la mañana o bebidas por la noche. También alberga el segundo baño.
La casa tiene calefacción central y aire junto con ventiladores de techo para comodidad durante todo el año.
Un patio grande es perfecto para relajarse alrededor de la fogata, cocinar en la parrilla de carbón (se suministra algo de carbón), jugar, observar la vida salvaje y disfrutar de un cielo lleno de estrellas. También tenemos un bonito pabellón con medio baño. Chalecos salvavidas y algunos juguetes de agua se almacenan allí.
Estamos ubicados entre el lago de los Ozarks (15 millas) y la ciudad de Jefferson (18 millas). El campo de golf Redfield está a solo 3 millas de la casa.
Los propietarios Kerry y Janet y sus 2 perritos viven en lo alto de la colina y generalmente estarán disponibles para satisfacer cualquier necesidad o responder cualquier pregunta.
Nota: Los niños menores de 12 años se alojan gratis. Simplemente no los agregue a su reserva, pero hágamelo saber.

Perfect family vacation!
We had an amazing vacation and highly recommended this property! Our kids (8 year old twins and 2 year old) loved the pond, pavilion, fire pit, exploring the grounds, and especially Popeye and his smiles! This a perfect property if you want to be able to swim without the crowds and waves of a large lake. The house was clean, comfortable, and homey. Janet and Kerry are wonderful hosts! We also highly recommend Ice Cream 4 Ice Cream and Stark Caverns.

Great stay.
Nice and clean and had everything we needed. Too hot this weekend for being outside but enjoyed spending time in the indoor sunroom enjoying the view. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

Quiet and peaceful
My husband and I stayed a weekend at this property. It was pretty hot so we didn’t really get out much and this property had mostly everything we needed. Nice and quiet. It is a bit off of the main road. If you’re looking for a quiet place to relax this is a great spot.

Slice of Heaven
We had a wonderful stay during the loudest holiday, 4th of July. It was peaceful and relaxing, the 1st time in 13yrs that my husband (Army Veteran) could truly unwind without his PTSD being triggered. Our son who's on the autism spectrum also had a relaxing time.... learning to swim! Gosh we had a blast! We will be returning, Yes that's how great it was! Relaxing getaway!
We booked to spend the weekend just after Thanksgiving and had a very relaxing stay in the cabin. We enjoyed the lake, took some hikes, and our kids loved their beautiful outdoor space. The house was awesome - very clean and fully stocked. We’re definitely keeping it on the list for a warm-weather visit!

A perfect lakeside retreat!
This property is beautiful, clean, and easy to find. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and all of the amenities included. The owners (and their dogs) are very friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Hopefully, we can visit again soon!

What a gem of a property! Private and secluded with its own pond. The owners dogs, Gordy & Popeye are fun to have around, but not an annoyance. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a nice place to "get away from it all".

Peaceful & beautiful! We had a very relaxing time both indoors & on the water. Only thing I would suggest would be new mattresses on beds as they were pretty uncomfortable. The hosts were great & easy to communicate with. The local businesses & eateries were close by. Already thinking about planning our next trip to RI retreat with more family members!

Great private lakeside retreat!
We had a great time, a nice relaxing place to unwind. They have a floating dock, pedal boats and canoes. We grilled and hung out by the fire pit too! Very friendly owners and with adorable dogs. Beautiful property with a peaceful atmosphere. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to get away from the crowds and enjoy nature.

The scenery was beautiful! Janet was really sweet and easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful and set up perfect. The best part was the lake. There were some bugs in the house but go figure! Overall our stay was perfect, I would rent again.

Amazing rental property
My girlfriend and I rented the Rock Island cabin for the weekend. It was clean and just as described in the listing. Unfortunately for us the weather did not cooperate for us to take advantage of the outdoor amenities. If we ever travel back to the area we will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Home
This property was exceptional! Even better than the pictures make it look. Janet & Kerry were incredibly friendly and personable. Stayed here with my spouse and toddler and will definitely be back! We ate outside & sat by the fire pit at night. My daughter loved the docks, taking the paddle boat out on the pond, and exploring the grounds. The home is centrally located between Jefferson City and Lake of the Ozarks, with short drives to both. We had a nice long weekend here and can’t wait to book a longer stay next time!

Wonderful private retreat
What a lovely property! House was comfortably organized, lots of spaces to gather, library of movies for families, floatation for kids if you want to canoe or paddleboat, lots of supplies provided in the kitchen. We love the covered pavilion and space to explore. The kids loved catching tiny frogs and climbing the tree fort. Beds were comfortable, everything was nice and clean. Planning to return again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is clean and well maintained. Multiple spaces to relax and unwind. The outdoor spaces are also fantastic. It was a great spot to spend a few days just hanging out and enjoying nature.
