We weren’t happy with the 64 steps to get to the room and the stairs were very steep. We had to pay someone $50 to carry our suitcases cause we couldn’t do it as we’re both in our 70s. I tried to get them to give us a first floor second floor room, and I got the runaround continuously until I finally looked it up online and saw that it was a fourth floor Room I could’ve canceled but at that time we only had a few days before we’re gonna be there. The communication was excellent from check in until we left, but it was quite poor before check in. The rooms are very dark when you don’t have the windows open, and it was very rainy the first two days. It leaked over the bed in the bedroom on the right as you walked to the bathroom, and it leaked three places in the living room in front of the couch and by one of the windows. They really need to warn people about the stairs and be easier to get a hold of upfront when someone is trying to make a decision. Expedia tried to get through to them and didn’t have any luck, got the runaround and we got the runaround from Expedia.
