Perfect cabin with lots of amenities!
This is our 8th year staying in the Eagle Cliff neighborhood and we are so thrilled to have found the Carriewood cabin! The house is more spacious than you would think, looking at it from the outside. It sits facing the west, so we had great views of Eagle Cliff mountain. We saw deer and elk coming down to the neighborhood each evening. The cabin itself is well-appointed, bright, and clean. We especially appreciated the air mattress for our son so we didn’t have to pull out the sleeper sofa each evening. The man-cave/she-shed was perfect for playing games and watching movies in the evening. Theres fun options for activities as well! The hot tub was wonderful, we used it primarily at night because it was quite hot this week during the day. The only minor downside to the cabin was no a/c so it did get quite toasty during the day, even with blinds down and fans going. It does cool down significantly at night, so that did keep the temp overall very comfortable in the cabin. The instructions in the house were clear and concise. Carrie was a great communicator and host. She not only came and cleaned the hot tub the first day we were there, but gave a great recommendation for an excellent coffee shop right up the road (Spice Rack!). We were there during a week of wildfires and Carrie was very helpful in that regard, easing our nerves but also being realistic about any potential concerns. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back soon! Our new ‘home’ in the Rockies!

Perfect Spot!
This little cabin (and mini game cabin) is 5 minutes from downtown Estes Park in a quiet little mountainside community. Clean, comfy furniture, two private bedrooms including a master with bath and big walk-in closet. Well designed so it feels bigger than it looks. Perfect place on the outskirts of RMNP so close to all hiking and scenic drives. Mule deer on the property daily if you’re into nature and wildlife. Awesome communication with Carrie throughout the process. Well kept home shows pride of ownership. Hot tub was a nice option after some long days.

Clean. Well stocked, close to town.lots of wildlife. We saw mama elk and baby as well. Comfy beds even the pull out. Tiny barn was great. We loved the corn hole game. Hot tub great. Property as described.

All you need!
We chose this property because of the hot tub, the location, and being smoke friendly. We live 40 minutes away and love going to Estes in the off season for girls weekends. The view was great, but it was too windy to the use the hot tub very much, but it was roomy and hot and ready. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We hauled a lot with us, needlessly. Owner was friendly and responsive. The only downside, if you call it that, was that there is a Ring doorbell. We imagined setting off her ring notifications every time we went in and out and hung around the porch, which was often. We felt bad about it. We hope it didn't bother her too much!

Adorable cottage in a great location
The cabin is gorgeous and was a perfect fit for our family. It had all of the accommodations we could ever want. It was a perfect place to meet and celebrate Christmas. I highly recommend staying here and if in the area, we will again.

We had a fantastic time at Carriewood, (my wife’s name is Carrie)! The location was great and the wildlife in the backyard was some great pictures were taken! The home was all that the listing was and just perfect! We really liked all the recommendations you had too! Went to a lot of them! The hot tub was amazing and with the snow coming down, very romantic! Would highly recommend this one! Carrie was great communicating with us, wish we could have met you. Memorial Day Vacay!!
Everything about the rental was fantastic. We were all very comfortable and impressed as soon as we walked into the cabin! Within a few minutes of the bustling downtown area of Estes Park but far enough out to be able to enjoy the wonders of nature.

Beautiful modern cottage nestled in the mountains
My husband and I stayed for our 8th anniversary and to get a break from the daily grind. Carriewood is a wonderfully relaxed mountain cottage with modern amenities, and we loved every minute being there, especially when enjoying the hot tub! The views from the front porch are breathtaking, and the wildlife so close to the cottage was quite the experience. Carriewood is also in a great location! Our host, Carrie, was helpful and pleasant, and we hope to stay again some day soon!

Mountain Elopement
We had the most amazing stay at Carriewood. The property was beautiful and very clean. Everything is very new and high quality in this rental. The location is very close to the town of Estes and very easy to get to RMNP. My now husband and I got married in the mountains at 3m Curve with a beautiful backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. It was like a fairytale. We also had the local mule deer visiting us daily at this property. We highly recommend this rental!
