The sound from the river is relaxing!
Loved this place. We saw wild turkey, rabbits and hummingbirds all from the porch. The 360 view is phenomenally close to nature and calming.

Cozy Cottage
Had a little bit of a problem finding it in the dark. However once we knew where it was wasnt a problem at all! Enjoyed the amazing scenery and how close town and sight seeing was! Will definitely be back!

The parking was a little odd but they mention that in the listing. Very informative about the rental. Love the pool Table and hot tub. Neighbors were a little close for my liking but they were not seen or heard. Love the deck and the view. Creek was great! The location was perfect. 2 minutes from the RMNP gate that was not crowded at all during this time of year. I was very pleased with this property!!

Great location and retreat!
Super clean cabin with plenty of room, stocked with well thought items and was a great location, easily accessible to RMNP, downtown and huge bonus of the river/creek view and surroundings! Definitely recommend and appreciated the pet friendly option to bring our special fur baby!

Retirement Celebration
Clean, quiet, right on Fall River so I could hear the water. Everything I was hoping for...except: The cupboards are very high, and I am very short, and although I looked, there wasn't a stepstool to be found. The road was a rutted from recent rain, but was repaired the 2nd day. Keeping the house the right temperature was tricky at best. Windows/curtains open/close, fan running... furnace at night? Overall, a nice stay, though.

Fantastic Mountain Escape
We enjoyed the home. Used the deck a lot: grill, hot tub, coffee in the morning with the mountain view and peaceful sound of the creek only yards away. We could see elk braise in the field across the creek and a mom and baby were eating next door on our last evening. Enjoyed the location- close to town but not right in town. Communication with rental agency was helpful.

Beautiful spot on the river
Only thing would be to have a better signage to the entrance to the residential road from the main Fall River Rd. and fix the dirt road without many large and small pot holes. It also would have been nice to have a dishwasher. Otherwise, it was a great place with great fishing right in the back yard.

Family Vacation
Such a great find. Our family had so much fun. Beautiful view of the mountains and the river. Surrounded by nature. The kids loved the pool table. We all got a lot of use of the hot tub. Perfect place for a family vacation.

Relaxing River House
The sound of the river, and mountain views are extremely relaxing. We enjoyed the hot tub with views of the river and the mountains. The house is the perfect size for a family. The kids enjoyed their rooms and the pool table. There is no A/C, but the host provides fans to keep the air moving. In July, opening the windows and using the fans was just right. The house is less than a minute from the Fall River entrance to RMNP, and just a few minutes to downtown shopping. We enjoyed both. The insulation in the bedrooms was surprisingly good, as you could not hear through the walls. We agree with the host that an AWD vehicle is best. The road down to the house is steep in places and fairly rough. We had a 4-wheel drive truck. In the summer it is not bad, however I do see how the road could be worse in the winter. There was enough hot water for a family of 4. Plenty of room for everyone. The host provides supplies, and a Safeway is just a few minutes from the house. Unlike other reviews, we had no interaction with the neighbors. However, we were quiet, and respected the tranquility of the mountains. We highly recommend this house as a relaxing location close to attractions. The views are amazing!

Beautiful family cabin
We arrived to a snow storm and although we had problems finding the road to the cabin it was plowed the next day. The cabin housed our family of 2 adults and five kids very well. The view from the porch and through the windows is amazing. And the sound of the River is so peaceful. We saw wildlife daily and enjoyed the stars while relaxing in the hottub after our day hikes. Kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils and the extra blankets where fantastic on the cold nights while we watched some of the many dvds that where provided. Would definitely stay again. Be aware there is a lot of construction between the cabin and Estes so waits can be long.

Short but sweet escape
This property is now on our listvto visit again..even potentially as soon as May with friends this time. Hot tub was aaaamazing, view, creek...very relaxing. Loved decor, you felt like you were at a friends cabin. Very cozy indeed, had everything we needed. We were sad we just had 3 days, but it was perfect!

Snowshoeing trip
Really enjoyed the views, hot tub and pool table. Finding it was difficult because we can in at night and Google maps takes you to the cabin above. Might be helpful to have a sign or distinguishable marker up at the top on the road. Oven glass was cracked and had duct tape on it so glad we didn’t preheat the oven before opening it and inspecting. Otherwise was a gray stay and easy to get to RMNP and town.

Very clean and secluded
The property was extremely clean! We were a mile outside of the national park and saw elk walking around the neighborhood. Very spacious. The only thing I would suggest is that if you’re going in winter months, please be comfortable driving in the ice and snow as this property is on a single dirt road and steep. Definitely recommend this home!

Lovely place
The house layout is perfect. Everyone is in the common area. We played games, BBQ, cooked. The house is close to town. Our family get together was wonderful. There is plenty of bedding. 2 bathrooms. Communication was always up front. Thank you for the use of your home.

Great location, not so clean
We loved being close to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The sound of the river at night was fantastic to fall asleep. The cleanliness left much to be desired. Upon arrival there was a strong odor and we discovered dog pee throughout the home. The hot tub did not have enough chlorine to the point the water was green. By the end we all left with congestion and even a rash.

Nice quiet get away
We received a lot of communication from VRBO prior to our visit, so we were very well prepared. There ae close neighbors at this property, yet it was still very quiet and relaxing. There is wildlife in the area, a great deck over looking the river and from the hot tub if you wish. The home is very much like you should expect from a mountain property, a bit dated, yet very clean with all the needed amenities. The property is only a couple miles from town, so very easy to go out to a restaurant, grocery store, ATV'ing as well as RMNP is less than a mile away where we enjoyed a picnic and hiking. Awesome mountain get away at an awesome property and VRBO was very easy to deal with, highly recommend!

Less than thrilled
We have stayed at several different condos/houses in Estes, unfortunately this was not our favorite. It is on the river, but the grass & weeds are so tall you can’t even get to river. The neighbors are less than thrilled about this property being a rental & voiced their concerns to us . We felt a bit awkward & didn’t want to spend much time there during the day. We would not book this one again.

Overall a great place with beautiful views
This property has absolutely stunning views! We spent a lot of time on the patio hot tubbing and grilling. While we enjoyed our time here, I’ll address two things that resulted in this being 4 stars. First was that most rentals I’ve stayed in provide the bare minimum of shampoo/conditioner, coffee, etc. Do not expect any of that here. The second is that it is 100% apparent that the neighbors don’t want this rental here on their private drive. We got along with them fine but just expect some comments to be made throughout your stay.

Nice Location - low on luxury
We enjoyed our stay. The cabin could use some serious updating. There is no dishwasher, and the remodeled bathroom has a shower floor flush with the rest of the bathroom floor -- so you can't take a shower without water getting all over the floor - it eventually drains, but poor design. The kitchen resources need a lot of help -- old plastic cups and dishes and not much cookware. The only other negative is that the family room has very little comfortable seating and cannot accommodate more than four people. On the other hand, the hot tub is awesome, elk and wild turkey in the yard is awesome, the pool table is awesome, and four miles to RMNP is awesome. We would stay again if some of the updates mentioned above were done. You'll enjoy your stay, but nothing even moderately luxurious about the place.

Great cabin
We loved the property it was great for our needs. The big problem with this cabin is the grill the burner covers are shot and the grill itself has so much grease build up that it caught fire we had to pull it away from the railing of the deck to keep it from catching fire .also the broil on the oven doesn't work. Emailed property management never got a response.

Comfortable house
The house gave the four of us space to spread out and then also space to gather - inside around the table, in the living area and then on the deck. Pans and dishes along with many spices provided. I should note that there is no dishwasher. I would rent this home again.

Overall good experience. Had to buy some essentials such as oven mitts, dish soap, and simple condiments. A bit taken back to find out after arriving that there were “starter” trash bags but more would need to be purchased. Not a lot of direction with where to put trash bags. Brochure mentions starting a load of towels (optional) but didn’t provide laundry detergent. Hot tub was wonderful and the views were phenomenal. Make sure you lock your car doors, a bear opened the door and made a small mess in the van. A deer visited the first evening, and a turkey and her family the next morning. The neighbors hummingbird feeders brought many hummingbirds to watch while sitting on the deck or in the hot tub. The pool table provided a great evening game time for the entire family.
