“We stayed in this hotel for three days while we explored Kandy. The hotel itself is set in a beautiful serene. There is a high level of attention to detail with the rooms, everything has been carefully considered. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is outside of the city, the hotel is more than happy to arrange transport to and from the centre at short notice. The food is cooked to order and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend this hotel.”
“When you arrive the door opens to a magnificent view of the pool and the river behind it. The staff was great, the food was probably our favorite during the first part of our trip. Would highly recommend this place. Make sure to visit the Temple of the Tooth and try out some local fruits!”

It s located well outside Kandy and which was great after the visit of Kandy town with all the traffic and noises. Coming back to the hotel was so relaxing . The room is quite big and very clean. “Gorgeous rooms and beautiful owners. Kumari & Joseph are so accomodating. The bus stops right in front of the path to the hotel, followed by an uphill stretch to reach the summit. So it's an easy & cheaper access to the city by bus. Highly recommended place to stay. ”
“Es un hotel nuevo. Nuestra habitación era muy espaciosa y con muy buenas vistas. La cama, muy cómoda. Desayuno completo. Cenamos allí las dos noches porque próximo al hotel no hay opciones para ir a pie, un día de carta y otro bufé, y recomendamos el menú a la carta. Personal muy atento. Los amenities están en bolsitas biodegradables, lo cual me parece un detalle y un plus con respecto a otros hoteles.
Respecto al personal, todos muy bien, pero especial mención al barman del rooftop”
“It is my second stay at Galavilla. I love this place so much. I was happy that the hotel is well developt. I feel as a home. The morning view form the room is realy breathtaking. The hotel is open around 5 years but still everythings is as new.I never see it in another hotels in Sri Lanka. I can recomend everyone who like nature and relax.”
