“We spent 4 wonderful days at this magical property. The grounds are lush and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is very well appointed. The attention to detail in design of the home and decor all contribute to the feeling that we were priviledged to share a very special place! Truly one of our most memorable experiences. ”

“We had plenty of space for 4 guys. We spent most of our time in living room or balcony. The sound of the fountain and architecture of the house made it peaceful. You have the full view of the city. The staff were helpful and communicative over WhatsApp. We asked for messages and coordinated with professionals familiar with house. There’s a bit of travel to and from San Jose or sure but it’s worth it. Always tell driver to follow the signs and the street has white stones lining the roadway....

A knife sharpener would be good to have for the kitchen, as knives were extremely dull; glad I brought my Buck knife. A steamer basket would also be useful for those who prefer to steam the fine produce available.”

“This was our second time staying at Quinta Colina Paula and we cannot say enough good things about this property and its host, Tonia. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived and were greeted by Meylin. She and her family live in the casita at the front of the property and were always kind and welcoming. Tonia also did a great job recommending drivers for short trips to town or day long excursions. We only hope it’s not another 8 years before we can return!”
