Full review-Very nice location, right between Blue Ridge and Macaysville. Very short drive to Mercier Orchards- a “must see” for this area. Place a grocery pickup order at the Walmart in Blue Ridge on your way into town ( coming from the south) to save hours grocery shopping. The cabin was spacious, and decorated nicely. We were excited to see that it was already decorated with a Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations throughout. We always choose to be close to the creek because the sounds of the water is so nice. The cabin is right between two neighboring cabins, so it is not super private. We didn’t have any issues and didn’t mind the path that runs through the yard for owners only- but beware that it is there and the neighbors will walk through the backyard, with their dog. I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. The cabinets need a wipe down, though all of the utensils, pots, pans, etc were clean. The dart board and darts are broke. The pool table was nice except, the felt was dirty and the room isn’t big enough to actually play pool. There are a ton of family games provided, some are missing pieces. Beds were comfortable. Patios are nice and spacious. The road in / out is narrow and steep.
