“For a family with a variety of ages this house was great. It was too cold, and the lake was too low, for swimming or boating. We had plenty of room to spread out, cooked plenty in the well stocked kitchen, relaxed, read a lot and played lots of games. The darts, ping pong and shuffleboard were popular. I would stay again. ”

“We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye...

We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.”

Pretty sure he decided that since it was the eclipse weekend in Dallas he chose to take a higher paying option and ignore my confirmed reservation. Expedia paid him and he refused to give me back the money even though he would not allow me to use the reservation. He told me to take it up with Expedia. Stay away from this property. He will steal your money.”
