“The house was clean. Heated up fast with just the kitchen unit. We enjoy fires outside and were hoping to see elk coming through the wooded area as many reviews said. However, it has since been logged and not cared for in any way. The fire pit was much closer to the house and the wooden swing in the pic was a now a plastic swing. “Pulling up to the cabin the pictures were exactly what they showed. The inside is beautiful with all the great mounts on the wall. It was perfect and comfortable for 5 people. Could fit a couple more and still be fine with the space. It’s in a great location for wildlife viewing and/or hunting. I would definitely say there again. ”

“The cabin was fantastic. The owner had the heat on at time of arrival. The entire experience was wonderful. Camp fire while deer were eating only a few yards away. We felt cozy nestled in the hills. “Beautiful house filled with great antiques. We had breakfast there every day and the pancakes were stellar! The innkeeper, Jim, was a refreshing delight, and gave us insightful information about local places to visit, including the Austin Dam Park and a spot to see elk (which we did!). Emporium has charm, and was a great home base for us to travel to see the Kinzua Skywalk and the Straub’s Brewery Tour. Would totally stay at the Hygrade Inn again. ”
