“Sogar die Lage der Hütte ist besonders, wer das erste Mal dorthin fährt, wird sich wundern wohin das Navi einen führt, wenn man aber ankommt ist es den Weg wert. Auf dem Parkplatz befindet sich direkt ein Brunnen, durch das wunderbar frisches und schmackhaftes Bergquellwasser läuft. Direkt daneben sieht man die traumhafte Aussicht ins Tal und den Sarner See. Durch die hohe Lage ist man ziemlich abgeschieden und kann die Zeit in Ruhe genießen, einzig die Kühe und Schafe der nahe gelegenen Weiden...

“We had an overall lovely stay. The location is close to Lucerne, but car/bus not walking distance. Very spacious house, with 5.5 bedrooms (the 0.5 is one room with a bunk bed is attached to another one of the rooms) that could easily sleep 11 people - so it was very comfortable for our group of 6. The kitchen was also fairly well stocked (including oils and spices), which made cooking some meals easy. There was a toilet with a known clogging problem, but no plunger in the house. “The house was in a beautiful location overlooking much of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. It was a luxury stay on 3 levels with a sauna and jacuzzi and well appointed kitchen. Seélisberg is difficult to access so a car is really necessary but very much worth getting 1/2 an hour from Lucerne and using it as a launching point to explore the area on foot, by funicular and ferry. A very enjoyable stay.”

“We loved the house and the lake was just a few feet away! Incredible views, comfortable rooms, an amenable host. Our one suggestion is that the host provide towels for their guest. Even if it is an extra fee, the convenience is worth it. I read that we had to bring towels, so I had a couple, but it certainly bulked up my packing. Otherwise, the property was perfect!”
