Peaceful and Relaxing
My husband and our two dogs had a wonderful long weekend at Mountain Soul. This little cottage and the property is absolutely perfect in every way; Angela, our host even had cards and little goodies for us and our pups when we arrived. We can't wait to visit again. ❤️

Peaceful and Amazing Weekend Getaway - Dog Friendly!
Overall amazing experience — will be coming back. Dog friendly setup but also very clean (no visible signs of previous people or pets). Lovely mountain property with lake — we went kayaking! High speed internet and modern climate control — but you will be focused on nature not technology. Screened in front porch with a single person swing bed — great for an afternoon nap. Communication with the property manager excellent with all needs met. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Paradise in the mountains “
It is hard to express how I feel about staying in Angela’s cabin. Angela had become a dear friend of mine after this experience….. and she was not even in the state. Angela is one of the most caring and thoughtful people I have ever encountered! She tended to every need I had and made SURE that I had a beautiful experience that I would never forget. The Dancing Dig cabin is a place that is nestled into the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beauty is something that is hard to put into words. I was sitting on the swing on the porch and watched a storm come in. The rain hit the tin roof and was incredibly soothing to hear. The cabin had a very modern shower. Angela is an extremely upbeat person who continually makes sure that you have BEYOND what you need. She has become my friend, just through her courtesy and kindness. I would give the cabin and Angela 100 STARS and I plan on coming back many times. If you decide to visit the Dancing Dog cabin, you will leave, never to forget your wonderful experience! I know that I came away from my five days feeling very blessed, and I wasn’t even able to buy a house, which was the reason for my trip.

Cozy Dream Cottage
I have to start with Angela, my host. From the day I booked the reservation Angela wanted to share with me all the little gems for me to visit while I was there along with necessity location such as food stores and of course wineries. Her enthusiasm for wanting her guest to feel like they are at home is truly genuine and comes across the minute you chat with her. And she is a dog LOVER which is great considering I do not travel without mine. The cottage itself was very clean, inviting and well stocked from the kitchen to the bathrooms towels and bed linens. I stayed at the cottage for two weeks and within a couple of days fell in love with the property, my view for the porch (I worked while on vacation) and the quietness that allowed me to enjoy the sounds of nature, Which allowed me to to be at peace & creative with my work. My dogs were in heaven listening to the sounds of nature as we live in the city. Before my two weeks ended (boohoo..) I booked another two week stay in a couple of months from now. Daydreaming of my return soon :-) Thank you Angela for your hospitality and genuine love for making your guests feel like family.

Great pet friendly option
Loved exploring the acres with my pup and the cabin itself is so dog friendly. Angela was so friendly and helpful with all the information she sent. The bed was so comfortable and at night it was easy to fall asleep and not want to get up! It is definitely a place that we will revisit when in the area. Ps- love having the little dog park attached to the cabin as it is so hard to find fenced in options that take dogs and that are affordable!

Relaxing weekend
My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Our host was amazing and had some very nice birthday touches like a yard flag and some farm fresh eggs along with a birthday card for hubby. It was so cold that we weren't able to truly enjoy the property but did take a couple of short walks around the beautiful pond. We definitely enjoyed the fireplace and had plenty of wood to burn all weekend. The place is just perfect and we can't wait to come back when its warmer. Thanks for making our stay just right.

The perfect getaway!
The host went above and beyond in so many ways to make sure we were comfortable and had an amazing stay. From dog treats and firewood, to the best restaurant recommendations. The host is beyond amazing. The property is quiet and secluded and was the perfect place to unplug and get away for a much needed vacation.

Peaceful Thanksgiving Getaway
My dogs and I absolutely loved this cabin! Angela went above and beyond to make sure our first time visit to Georgia was memorable with so many thoughtful gifts and kind messages. She was very helpful and gave me recommendations for dog friendly restaurants. The cabin is so clean and updated with many attention to details! It has everything you can imagine and then some! We can’t wait to visit again in the summer! 🐶🐾

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful area. Cozy comfortable cabin. We walked around on the property, but didn't begin to cover it. Quiet, cozy, inviting, it was exactly what we needed. Communication with the owner was great, also. Would definitely go again!

Peaceful and relaxing.
Very private but minutes away fro Ellijay. The cabin was very comfortable and very clean.. The pavilion on the other hand needs a good power wash and the grills need cleaning. The kitchen needs some type of exhaust for cooking. Set off the smoke alarm multiple times. Overall a nice stay. The dogs enjoyed the dog yard.

Mountain Soul was amazing!
Dancing Dog Farm is a very special place and we enjoyed our time so much. Angela is an exceptional host! We will be back to experience more kayaking, hiking, fishing, and the most peaceful place ever! Great getaway to disconnect from work / daily life and reconnect with loved ones and nature! Perfect getaway!
Dancing Dog Farms is an absolute paradise. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. We spent so much time on the screen porch and bed swing. We loved exploring the property and taking walks around the pond. Angela was the best host we have ever had. Perfect spot for any dog lover as she welcomes them with open arms. A quick drive to the very quaint downtown Ellijay and to nearby wineries. We wish we could have stayed longer. The perfect oasis!

Mountain Soul is a beautiful property. The screen porch over looking the lake is so relaxing. Fishing was fun. Caught lots of fish. The property owner kept in touch during our stay even letting us know if bad weather was coming. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend.

Perfect respite
The location is secluded and private (heads up some is unpaved). A well appointed cabin with modern amenities and fun lighting inside and out. Harry dog enjoyed walking the property and spying the geese who graze next to the fenced in dog area morning and evening. The porch bed swing is the bomb and so inviting! Oh I should mention the lovely fresh eggs from chickens at the farm. Lots of near by activities of want to venture out…. Thank you Angela and Chris!

Weekend getaway
Mountain Soul is a wonderful haven for dogs with plenty of room to roam without worry. It was private, but not too far from Ellijay. Angela did a great job of communicating before and during the trip. My husband and I loved our long weekend there and will definitely come back. Oh, nice bonus - the water pressure in the shower is AWESOME!!

Peaceful Retreat
The place is so private & peaceful. My dogs loved the freedom of being off leash in an enclosed safe space. The set up is very user friendly. Perfect for a couple, or a single person with furry family members.
