AMAZING home, location and amenities. Very comfortable beds!! Brad our host was awesome. Deer everywhere and views spectacular. Right on a creek which is great to hike. 30min from Blue Ridge, easy drive. Went horseback riding, visited wineries and fly fishes for trout. House has very large kitchen and great space for the entire family

Fantastic accommodations, clean, spacious and all the comforts of home. Breathtaking view of Mountaintown Creek from back porch. The apple pie was the best we've ever had!! Will definitely consider this property for a future adventure to north Georgia.

Amazing Property and Host
The property is spacious, immaculately furnished, and exceptionally clean. The host Brad was extremely responsive and sent information prior to our stay and included a really nice online guide. I would highly recommend this property and this host for anyone looking for a great and relaxing weekend in the mountains.

Excellent customer service
From the moment we booked, the communication and customer service was phenomenal. The app the host provided enabled us to thoroughly plan and pack for our trip. It was great to have everything about the house at our fingertips. The cabin was very clean when we arrived, like really clean, not just “wiped down.” Most importantly, there was an issue with the cabin that was beyond anyone’s control, and Brad was very responsive and did everything he possibly could to make it right and try to make our last day of vacation enjoyable. The layout would be perfect for a large family or a two-family vacation. We had a blast in the river, playing ping pong and shuffle board.

Relaxing Getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The view was spectacular and the home was clean and stocked with amenities. Birthday Getaway
The host was easy to communicate with and everything was as described. It’s a great size for several people with plenty of extra space if people want to just be in a quiet spot to read or enjoy the decks. He was also very accommodating for pets. Bring good hiking shoes or boots for the walk down to the river. The hot tub also got a lot of use and was very clean. And do not pass up on the apple pie if he offers… it was really good.

The Absolute best is an understatement!!!
The property was immaculate inside and out. Everything reflected what the pictures show. There is everything there that you can think of from entertainment to every kitchen accessory you could possibility need. BRAD (THE HOST) goes above and beyond with communicating and ensuring that all of your needs and expectations are met. You need to look no further if you are looking for the best stay in ellijay. The scenery and sense of peace that the property offers has us all refreshed and ready to plan a return trip already. Definitely a 10/10 experience!!!

Beyond Impressed - Best Vacation Ever!
The cabin in Ellijay, GA, was absolutely perfect in every way. Before I go into the cabin amenities, I would like to note that the host, Brad, was great to work with, communication was top-notch, and everything was detailed to the "T" to ensure a pleasant, stress-free experience. The cabin was clean and had an outstanding balance of modern style and a traditional farmhouse cabin feel. Outside of food and drinks, literally everything you needed was provided. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of sleeping options. My kids, 12 and 8, really enjoyed the playroom, separate living area, and hot tub. The cabin's backside and the river views were nothing short of breathtaking. If you're a nature lover, this cabin is a dream come true. We found ourselves drawn to the river three times a day, captivated by its beauty. The river and the views were like a living, breathing Thomas Kinkade painting, a sight to behold. Lastly, the little things will make your trip enjoyable, like the friendly folks in town, the neighborhood dear that will greet you daily, and the fresh southern apple pie on your arrival. If you need a specific call to action after this review, here it is... book this cabin!

Family Get Away
This home is amazing! There was so much to do! My husband and two adult children planned a trip to Ellijay for my birthday and I could not have been more pleased! The house was huge! We all had our own space with king beds and private bathrooms. The kitchen was enormous with everything you could need to cook. The view was beautiful with the river just below. This trip was very relaxing! We even had some deer friends come to visit and one let us hand feed him apples! We will definitely be booking again in the future!

3 Days at High Life Lodge
Had a great time at the Lodge with friends. Quiet and peaceful. Well stocked kitchen and nice gas grill on main deck. No need to leave lodge to eat in Ellijay as long as you pre-plan what you will be eating for your stay. Walk down to the river was a little steep, but the path had railing to help along the way. Will definitely consider booking again in the future. BTW, Deer greeted us when arriving and saw us off when leaving. Almost like they knew our schedule :)

The Perfect Getaway!
The owners have thought of everything in this gorgeous property! Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen,extra speakers- there wasn’t a moment during the weekend where we had to say that we wished we remembered something bc they had already thought of it. Brad was great with communication and very understanding with some last minute changes. We have stayed in many homes in the Ellijay area and this one can’t be beat. We enjoyed the sound of the River, the visiting deer, games, campfires, and just the overall beautiful accommodations. This is truly a place made for relaxing.. thanks so much for a fabulous weekend.

Definitely a 5 star
We can not say enough about how wonderful this place is. The communication is the best we’ve ever had. The user guide you get before your stay is so helpful and filled with so much info. The cabin is just a listed/pictured. Great touches with all the “extras” they provide. We’ve never stayed somewhere that provided tissues, foil,baggie, etc…. so nice to not have to pack all that stuff. Kitchen very well equipped. We even baked with the kids. The walk down to river is steep but it’s beautiful. If you’re not up for the steep walk Brad has 3 other properties right along the river you can inquire about. Highly recommend staying at one of Brad’s properties.

Fantastic property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this incredibly well equipped home. Probably the most/best well equipped venue we've ever stayed at, down to the doggie crate with bed and towels! What a great touch! Everything worked great but I will say we encountered the same issue we've had at almost every place we've stayed... the beds. had to try every bed in the house until we found one that wasn't worn to the point of sagging. I don't know why owners don't actually try spending a night in their property so they can experience how uncomfortable the beds really are. While they might be high quality memory foam, they still have a lifespan. All I wanted was a good night sleep and that was near impossible. Ended up on the couch. I'm sure they will fix the problem now that they are aware. I still highly recommend the property, we did have an amazing time hiking, kayaking and fishing in the area. There were a ton of deer on the property and enjoyed interacting with them during morning coffee, at least until the mama bear and 2 cubs showed up. They were up a tree in the front yard for 2 hours, which meant we couldn't leave for fear of the mama getting upset. We would definitely return. Cheers, Ian

Perfect Cabin For Large Family Vacation
We enjoyed the cabin and secluded scenery. Plenty to keep everyone busy and every detail was thought through for a very relaxing stay. You could hear the river from the deck and the hike down was as described in the listing but well worth it; it was like our own private natural water park. We saw tons of deer, including fawns and velvet bucks! Host was very responsive and respectful of our privacy.

Birthday Weekend
I rented this cabin for myself and a few friends to celebrate my birthday. The cabin is beautiful, clean and like new! We loved being able to hear the river from the back porch and going down to the water! Everything was as advertised, if not better. The owners clearly thought of everything from speakers around the house, oversized towels for the hot tub, fire starters and wood for the fire pit to even having ziploc bags on hand (much appreciated) to take snacks down to the dock. Brad was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had (we did have trouble accessing Netflix) no matter the time of day! 5 STARS and will definitely be back!!
